I mean the most extreme of the genre... preferably not the mainstream ones I already know about (carcass, napalm death etc..)
I'm going on a walk to the liquor store... better have a few listed by the time I come back

YO HO!!! A fellow djentlemen. I prefer Exoplanet to Vessel but both are amazing songs.

I did at first then kinda switched. Just a good band in general though. Kinda grew outta the really heavy stuff but I still like it every now and then.

I'm honestly not a huge metal guy like I used to be anymore myself. I just like the word 'djentlemen'. I listen to some AaL, Contortionist, and the other stuff I used to listen to every now and again when my mood suits it.

ok listen up fuckers
here's some OG grind/noisegrind, the production may be thin and not what you consider "heavy" but this is raw grindcore at its rawest. when it comes to the shroomery and threads about grind/extreme metal i usually bite my tongue but all i can say is that i am often disappointed greatly.
ASSÜCK
UNHOLY GRAVE
WARSORE
FEAR OF GOD
EDIT: after reading some of the actual posts, i have a couple things to say...keep in mind i'm a little drunk right now so i may be blunt
1. whoever was talking about not liking to deal with "subgenres like grindcore etc." GRINDCORE IS NOT A SUBGENRE OF DEATH METAL. grind at the very least came to fruition as a genre alongside death metal and cross-influencing with it, but it can even be argued that it predates death metal. grind certainly has been influenced by metal over the years, but death metal has been influenced by grindcore at least as much.
2. to the guy who posted a code 13 song...you kick ass
3. holy shit someone posted assück before me. you kick ass too

Its an extreme off-shoot of hardcore punk, often confused as being a metal sub-genre, although many bands have blurred the lines with extreme metal.
I'm not very well versed in grindcore bands, but here's a good one on the metal side of the fence.
