anti depressant problem

My girlfriend got on paxil a few weeks ago and because of it her orgasms are very much so, less than amazing. Sex feels good as hell like it always does, but what do you do when her orgasms arn't screaming like they usually are.
She started taking the paxil for anxiety issues, but that increase in seritonin seems to make it hard for her to cum.
Any advice on how to get her clit pumped for my cock?
When I was on Prozac I had a problem when it came to busting a load. I feel like the seritonin numbs your genitals. I could fuck for hours with no problem.
Maybe I should get on those drugs again so we can fuck for hours on end.
It really does suck not being able to orgasm though.

I say tell her to stop taking that. Go get some sugar pills"placebo" tell her it rapidly increases hormones and blood flow during sex. There is a good chance that will work. Mind over matter is a powerful thing

Wellbutrin is a well known antidepressant that doesn't hinder sex drive. HOWEVER, since it isn't an SSRI like Paxil, she may not be able to take it with other medications/ailments she may have.

Wellbutrin caused dizziness and recurrent panic attacks for me after a few months of taking it. Yeah, it's hard to orgasm on prozac, and not that satisfying anyway. Anti-depressants can totally ruin your sex life, so I would only recommend using them if the depression or anxiety is severe enough to sacrifice that.

Yeah, there are side effects with pretty much all anti-depressants. I see an improvement in her overall mind frame so I think the good is outweighing the bad for the most part. I figure we'll give it a couple months and see if the side effects reside a bit. It's only the first months she's been on them.
I loved it when I was taking prozac because I felt like I could conquer the world on it. It didn't go to well when I was drinking because it would give me horrible heartburn the next day when I was hungover. I chose the booze over the medication after a while. I would also slightly hallucinate all day everyday when I took them.
Besides for the sex drive problem they really do do miracles for depression. I could use some motivation right now.

My experience is that the sexual side effects worsen with time, not reside.

I'd suggest therapy until the anti-depressants aren't needed anymore. Unless she is chemically challenged, then she will need them.

I'm on Celexa now and I am having the same problem she is. Now both our sex drives are diminished like crazy. Our mindframes are a lot better, but I don't know if it is worth it because lack of sex is depressing in itself.
It's so hard to orgasm!

My gf goes absoloutely nutty when she runs out of her anti-depressants. I don't even bother with confrantation if that's the case.

From my experience meds can really fuck with a relationship. I used to not be able to get it up due to taking benzodiazepines lol. I quit using it and after a while everything got much better. I agree that she should not take this quickfix meds and try to deal with her emotions herself.

I think it's often used best the other way around; use the quick-fix meds to elevate yourself enough to figure out the depression and then ween off of them as you solve the dilemmas (if possible and this scenario assumes the depression is temporary and not permanent).

Use with caution and at your own risk (as should be standard for any new medication). I am not the only person to report these symptoms. The panic attacks started about 3 months into it, and continued for 4 months after I had stopped taking it. A really common side effect is feeling super dizzy if you miss a dose.

I'm not really feeling any better on these anti depressants yet. Life still feels bleak and pointless. I was hoping they would give me some motivation to get out and do more instead of sit around my house miserable everyday.
They might just need more time to take affect. I'm anticipating more side effects, but I'm hoping the good will outweigh the bad.
