The composition in this photo is phenomenal. So much so, I nominated it.

Thanks for the kind words everybody. The coons are pretty big around here, and not too friendly.

:yesnod: I have a video that I will put up later. Almost every log that I sprayed a few weeks ago had visible streaks where the stream hit the moss. Only on the moss tho. I thought it was slug slime at first, till I got a bit closer:hehehe:

I wonder if it is leeching moisture from the moss, or actually decomposing it...

It looks like the mycelium is consuming the moss. It even seemed to be eating the blackberry leafs

Video quality kinda sucks. I've been dumping A LOT in the last few days, so hopefully I'll be able to show a better example in a few weeks.

Edit: Pesticide sprayers are the shit. One gallon pump fits perfectly in the pack, along with a gallon jug for a refill. Gotta mod it out a bit so you don't get clogs, and make sure there are no large chunks in the LC. Two gallons will cover about 1/2 acre if you use sparingly.

Forgot a few.

Enteridium lycoperdon:

Psathyrella sp.

Thimble Berry flower

What looks like a different species of Pleurotus than what I was finding a few weeks ago. Maybe some actual P. ostreatus:shrug:

More pictures from today:sunny: I'm a bit tired, so I'm only gonna post ID's on ones I don't have to look up in a book:shrug:

Ganoderma sp. growing from Red Alder. She's a little past prime.

Stemonitis fusca

Coprinellus sp.

Scutellinia scutellata

Not really sure about this one. Growing from Red Alder near a swamp. Sure is cool looking with some amazing color contrast.

The black crusty mess. Reminds me of a scorpion.

Oysters.

Nice pictures! Looks like it's been pretty dry there, it's been dry here as well. :singletear:
Did you go check on your bohemica's mycelium? That stuff looks like pretty ferocious.  :awesomenod:

Without constant or at least steady rainfall, doesn't the lc dry up and become unviable? It's been very dry the past couple of weeks so I kind of imagined that it would bring all mycelium to a halt.
