How about that goal from the red line
Great game though, really want Phoenix to pull this series out though.

Are there ANY Kings fans in this thread?
I haven't read a lot of it, I can't watch the games in the UK so my input is kinda limited.
They are kicking ass and are ranked 8th. Anyone see them stealing it in a sweep? They seem unstoppable.
Props to Jersey for game 2, we've beaten the Rangers before in the play-offs (and Final??), be great to do it again this year.
Who are y'all rooting for in the potential final?

Kings vs Rangers, I'd like to see that
Kings have their hands full right now, they got outshot in the 1st period 11-8. scoreless after 1 period. both teams had their chances though.
Shane Doan is starting to piss me off. I know dude is a competitor and all that, great hockey player, buts hes been a little dirty lately...

Kings fans are actually a very rare species. They only come out during the playoffs, and only when the Lakers aren't doing their best.
I'm rooting for a Devils-Phoenix match up, strictly from a Flyers fans standpoint. As for what series would be the best to watch, Kings-Rangers.

He just REALLY wants that goddamn Cup. He's waited far too long.

Actually, it's not because he wanted the Cup, he just always wanted to be a professional wrestler.

ahaha, I watched that for about 5 mins. rofl. I'd like to see Devils - Phoenix final. Only because I hate the Rangers and I'm sick of hearing reporters gargling Jonathan Quicks balls.
I'm thinking it'll be Rangers - Kings though. Which would be pretty entertaining.
Go Devils.

Rumor has it, me and Giroux are Eskimo Brothers
I'm trying to find the picture of the girl that has me and her in it (we were real close in highschool, hooked up a few times in recent years), and then ones with her and Giroux making out. He was at XFinity Live, which is a huge bar next to all the stadiums. He was there on her 21st, and her friend knows a lot of Flyers players for some god known reason, so they all hung out. They are all on Facebook, but I deleted mine so I can't fucking find it. May have to bring it back for a lil just to prove it.
I know if I ever meet Giroux, first thing I'm saying is that we are Eskimo bros.

Maybe the NHL will pick up a few more followers if there is a LA v.s. NY finals matchup.
Good god, I love hockey playoffs, though. Lundqvist is a tank, and Quick has been just as good. Fatty Brodeur had quite the game, recently, too.

Possibly. I think LA has that appeal just because it's LA, but the fans there are terrible for the most part for the Kings. NY has great fans for every sport, and having a NY team will draw in a lot of casual fans.
I remember a lot of people didn't like hockey in my high school, but once the Flyers had that insane playoff run in 2010, I've seen them become fans that bought tickets every year and watch a lot more.

I just don't see how it doesn't catch on. It can be more violent than football and not nearly as many breaks in action. This country has a short attention span AND loves violence.
I'm a Pens fan, but my love for hockey started with an NHL game for the Sega Saturn and never died. A lot of Penguins fans stop watching hockey as soon as they get eliminated. It blows. I wish the city respected the entire sport that gave them a good team and great players.
