Nothing too exciting
    #16237336 - 05/15/12 11:20 PM (1 year, 4 days ago)

We have had some very beautiful weather lately so I have taken the family hiking a few times in the last couple of days, these are the pictures from the expectations.

Galerina sp. possible.

flower pot agrocybe.

Not sure what this is, it stained yellow almost immediately and had gills.

Wild iris.

Some fuzzy flower.

baby snake, not sure which kind.

agrocybe
cluster.

inocybe sp.

Not sure, maybe galerina. had a super long brown stem.

Back by popular demand, cyanescens LC trees.

mycena pura?

I don't know what these are but they grow in large dense clusters.

I also don't know what this is, it didn't seem to have any gills at all.

Cool pic, Maynard.  Your yellow staining mushroom is an Agaricus. Other than that the only help I could offer is on the suspected Mycena pura. I don't think it's them.  With those cracked caps, I would guess an Agrocybe, but the gills don't look right for that.

Man, I hope to heck that those mycelium-covered trees fruit at some point. Amazing to see

Your large dense clusters may be Hypholoma... did you take a spore print?

The snake is a gopher snake

Great shots!
Good to see such a variety of fungi.

Also, the myc growth looks insane!

Peace,

No I didn't take any with me, I didn't figure they were anything worth taking with me.

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I will be sure to keep checking up on those trees this fall, it would be fantastic if they fruited like that. I will keep updating everyone on how they are doing periodically.

lol, I will try. I need a tripod, I am a little too shaky sometimes. Maybe I shouldn't drink so much coffee (the nectar of life).

I feel you on that one, I got super shaky hands. The harder I try to be still the harder they shake, and I don't even drink coffee.
