Mitt Romney Gets Testy After Gay Marriage, Immigration, Pot Questions The Huffington Post | By Sam

Mitt Romney got a touch testy with a local Colorado reporter on Wednesday after fielding several successive questions on social issues and immigration policy.
"Aren't there issues of significance that you'd like to talk about?" the former Massachusetts governor asked CBS4 when the topic turned from same-sex marriage to in-state tuition for the children of undocumented immigrants to medical marijuana. "The economy? The growth of jobs? The need to put people back to work? The challenges of Iran?"
Once the interview concluded, Romney was back to questioning the line of questions, albeit in a more joking manner.
"I'm not running on marriage and marijuana, those are state issues, right? Aren't they?" he said.
For the record, Romney said he opposed the legalization of medical marijuana, calling it a gateway drug.

Doesn't matter, Obama 2012, that's becoming apparent. I'm not the least bit worried about '12, The democrats of the forum should start to really think about 2016, and that's no joke.

Can't decide what would be worse for the marijuana front and the country as a whole: Obama for another four years, or Romney. What a fucking election

Gary Johnson 2012. Ron Paul I thought was ok too, but after seeing how anti abortion he was, I'm afraid of what other religious policies he'll try to push on us.
Seriously, Gary Johnson will be on the ballot for libertarian party. Do yourself a favor.

Romney is correct in thinking that it should be left to the states to decide; he is missing the point though it's still federally illegal so the states don't get any say in the matter.
The journalist is asking the wrong question. As cannabis activists the ral question we should be asking is total decriminilization.

Well it's pretty clear (to me at least) that Romney will not come with any new ideas. He is sticking to being a textbook republican. You pretty much get what you expect. So if you are a rich, white, straight, obedient, law abiding good christian without any kind of empathy what-so-ever here's your guy!

This. I consider myself a libertarian, and planned on voting Libertarian regardless. It's just disheartening knowing there isn't a chance in hell of him winning. Kinda feels like a waste of time and vote.

Although Ron Paul is Anti Abortion (he delievered over 2000 babies mind you)
Ron Paul Thinks abortion is a state issue, not a federal issue. He won't try and push his view onto states. He will leave most issues up to states.

It's not a waste. I hear a lot of people say they won't vote for a 3rd party candidate because they'll never win. This doesn't make sense to me and that thinking is the reason they won't win. It's not a contest to see who picks the winner, it's our future. Every voice counts (should count).
This guy left new Mexico with a large surplus. I want to say $2 billion but I don't have time to find the link to back that number up right now. He wants to balance the budget now, unlike congress who is passing bills to cut $3 bil a year from our deficit like it's going to do something other than push the problem off until someone else is on their seat.
Even if he does get elected though, I don't see any of the ideas he has making it through house or senate. So maybe it would be a waste...

Obama is bad on medical I read last week on the NORML page that the raids on medical clubs during Obamas first term has surpassed both terms under Bush
Whats worse a republican that you know doesn't agree with it or a democrat who says they will leave states alone only to win over your vote raid med states and send you to prison later?
I know people who have been convicted in the last month for raids last year all because they believed Obama BS to get elected and became some large dispensaries, they didn't do anything wrong and were following state laws to the T yet they go to fed prison
If everyone that said "I'd vote for third party but its a waste of a vote" actually voted for a thrid party we might get somewhere after we see that we can have an effect more people will be swayed to vote against our 2 party downward spiral
thats the end of my rant anyhow

Let me explain; the candidate with the most votes wins (generalized).
Gary Johnson will not be that winner, end of story
Its not fair or right but you have two choices; Romney or Obama (Paul is not getting the nomination having only won one state's primaries...its over people ).
So make the right one!!!
