This one is 2-3 years old now but every once in a while I still have to show my woofers who the boss is around here and share my love of all things bass-heavy with the neighbors at the same time. Bangin' tune especially with a good system.

Edit: dunno why link isn't working, but check it out on the youtubes.

Heard this tune in a mix this morning and spent all fucking day trying to find an ID. Finally at 1am I came across it. It really did take me hours upon hours to find this quality tune so enjoy! I wish the track were a bit longer but the quality makes up for it. Give it a listen for a minute, it's worth it.

Yeah that tune is ill! Great call and a great fucking throwback. That shit is golden on a proper setup.

So...Again, I'm posting about this camp out like I do every year. Just a heads up for any west coast peoples that have not heard of it or have not seen the thread for it.
Quote:
It's time once again to gather in the forests of California and dance in the trees at the original 'Really Really Good' festival. This year Irie Cartel and Camp Questionmark are bringing to the stage well over 100 of the most progressive names in future bass, dubstep, hip-hop, glitch-hop, mid-tempo, and every other sub-genre of bass heavy bliss.
Emissions is not trying to be overly pretentious, but at the same time not mainstream at all. This festival is rooted in it's meticulously perfected, non-cookie cutter lineups that have been a literal who's who of artists on the edge of blowing up, as well as completely established. The birthplace festival for so many 'staples' at other events, artists like... Nit Grit, Minnesota, Helicopter Showdown & so many more. Cultivating a community feeling between the music & the people involved. Making it more centered and fulfilling to an appropriate size audience, intentionally working to not feel like a MASSive or industry event.
Providing you with 3 days of non-stop sonic serenades from 2+ stages unleashing the most satisfying styles of 2012. Lighting artists, stage artists, visual artists, alter creators, crafters, fire dancers, and so much more, are collaborating to mesmerize your eyes and enhance this event for your inevitable transcendence.
Beyond the boom, the entire event will feature alternative forms of interaction and creative exploration. Huge art displays, alters & installations, 'The Future of Bass' experimentation area. The Zen zone, complete with low-fi sound, chill melodic beats, tea house, & hookah sitting area. Community workshops scattered throughout the weekend on everything from art lessons to online music marketing skills. Unique artists & vendors will be set up in the central area the entire weekend displaying there contributions to the family. All taking place in a beautiful clearing within an oak tree forest, creating a perfect fusion of nature and technology.
Emissions is a community event dedicated to bringing the electronic bass tribe together to celebrate our ever growing and evolving culture. We are not here to force our beliefs on you, but to facilitate you enjoying yours. Come prepared to get down with the crew while making west coast bass culture history.
We are at a brand new location this year that is about 1000 feet lower in elevation than last year. This means NO SNOW!!!
Yea, it snowed last year . The weather is going to be beautiful this time around though, and the location is all sorts of lush with mountain wild flowers blooming & all.
It's really really fun .
.

its all about the deep dark minimal dubstep
--------------------
Throughout human history, as our species has faced the frightening, terrorizing fact that we do not know who we are, or where we are going in this ocean of chaos, it has been the authorities, the political, the religious, the educational authorities who attempted to comfort us by giving us order, rules, regulations, informing, forming in our minds their view of reality. To think for yourself you must question authority and learn how to put yourself in a state of vulnerable, open-mindedness; chaotic, confused, vulnerability to inform yourself. Think for yourself. Question authority

I absolutely LOVE dubstep<33 I have been a huge fan for years now, ever since it was still underground and virtually unheard of :O!
Some of my favorite artists are; Zeds Dead Flux Pavilion Butch Clancy Mt Eden Dub Nero Doctor P Tek-One Bar 9 SKisM
The list goes on.
BTW, SKRILLEX IS NOTTT DUBSTEP!!! I am a huge skrillex fan, however, I hate what hes done to the name of dubstep. Everyone thinks hes dubstep but hes not even close. He's warped the genre and it will never be the same... He himself even says that he simply "makes electronic music with no genre" If I had to put him in a genre I would probably categorize him in 'Filth'
Also try checking out HardStyle!!(:

Dats dat good undaground shit... Thanks for the lesson but Skrillex is as much "dubstep" as Doctor P is for example. Dubstep has sub-genres at this point from the more mellow original "dub influenced" sound to the crazy heavy robot sex/lazer ass fucking "dubstep".
