Plan on getting a new guitar

I used to play guitar a TON in high school and I ended up selling mine like a dumbass and now regret it
I am going to be getting some cash soon and want to hit up Guitar Center for a new acoustic. I will only have about $400-$500 to spend and can not go over that.
I love the sound of classical and flamingo guitar styles and would like to get something like that. I also really like the sound of bluegrass which my grandpa play's. I will probably take him along for some help also.
My question is what is a quality acoustic in that price range that will have good tone and stay in tune good. I know it is a low budget and I won't be able to get the best guitar out there but I know damn well I should be able to find a decent one in that price range.
Any suggestion's and/or recommendation's would be greatly appreciated
I won't be going to look for a week or 2 yet so I figured I would see what you guy's have to offer first

I am using a Fender FR50, which should fit into your price range, and has a really nice sound for playing bluegrass style music. It's very tight and punchy sounding, it doesn't carry across a lot of volume if you are playing in a large noisy environment though.
I've had limited experience with acoustics, I mostly play a Jackson with the tremlo rejigged a bit for some distorted slide action.
The only other acoustic I really have played for an extended period was an old Ibanez that was always floating around the shared house I used to be in. No idea on model, it was quite an old guitar, but the sound was amazing, such long sustain and clarity.
I'd be keen to see what you end up with.

Wow I did not realise you could pick up ovations so cheap. My first guitar teacher used to have one (many moons ago) it was an amazing guitar. Very clean sounding, and felt just wonderful to play. If I remember rightly it had an extended fretboard I was trying to learn some stupid Vai shizzles, and he had no problem playing it on that.

Yeah assuming that it is in as good a nick as it looks to be. Seems like it would be an excellent buy.

That Ovation is really really beautiful. Sexy, if ya know what I mean :p. But for not so much money Yamaha is just straight up Da Kine Bro.
