Well dude I hear ya you keep saying be the change you want to see in the world well guess what I have changed so much its unreal. I've stopped drinking and work out 5 days a week and eat a perfect diet. I've gotten in such good shape its unreal and guess what? All my friends now want nothing to do with me because I wont go out and drink with them and waist my life away working a shit job I hate. Iv'e tried sharing my ideas with people and everyone laughs at me and im literally the outcast where I live. No one talks to me and I can tell they all talk mad shit behind my back. So im sorry if im a bitter bastard and I hate the world because it seems every time I try and better myself the worse my life becomes. You want to change the world?
I realize your trying to help, but all you did was change yourself...and none of it even has to do with real world issues that affect people.
And you can still go out with them! You don't have to drink to have fun with people drinking.
Another problem "everytime I better myself" why not trying to better other peoples' lives?
I don't even understand what "change" you want. For people to stop following order? For people to do what you want? For people to be healthy? For people to be generous?
Specify this change you wish. Mediocre is not specific enough.
Tldr; You seem like one of those people who preach to others to live the life you want everyone to have. Like preaching a religion to someone who's not religious.

haha right that's what I do I don't force my view on anyone I just explain my viewpoint. I either get labeled a hippy or a bum. So yeah... Like I say just meeting a decent open minded person in my life would be the only change I ask for. Not gonna happen though so I guess suicide is the only option

Right... Ill at least live out the year because I still have a small amount of hope left but if no opportunities arise and I still see the world decaying then yeah I probably will.

Willing to make a promise? You're gonna kill yourself anyways. Next time you hangout with friends or whatnot ask them of their viewpoints. And the main thing is focus on having fun! Noone likes a Debbie downer.
And if you're truly about to pull that trigger, I say. Leave. Do everything you've every wanted. Skydive? Sure. Bungee jump? Sure. Swimming with sharks? Sure. Become an assassin killing bad guys? Sure. Going to the bar getting wasted? Sure. (I don't think it'll matter if you're willing to kill yourself soon) Hitting on as many chicks as you can? Sure. Massive drug binge? Go ahead. Start dealing drugs? Sure. Go to the club and dance your ass off? Sure. Do dangerous stunt just for fun? Go the fuck ahead.
If you decide to kill yourself why would doing any of this matter if you plan to pull the trigger anyways? And maybe, just maybe you wouldn't commit suicide after you see the sheer beauty/enjoyment of life.

Thats the right idea, embrace life. Get so good at it, sticking your neck out so to speak. Make suicide a lifelong pursuit. You can take your life at any minute but its got to be the right one. That perfect moment where you can refect on all the greatness of this world and of yourself. Knowing you did enough, figured it all out. Then you can pitch off the mountain or hop into the freezing sea, take on a lion, how ever you see fit. Sounds like op isn't quite there..

Man I know how you feel but you just gotta keep your head up.
Lots of people are depressed as fuck. There's small children in Africa who have had to watch their parents get killed and raped, and then they got raped.
And the vast majority of those people have not killed themselves. If they can find hope, if they can find something worth living for than you can too.
Why not travel? Move out to the country somewhere and start a farm. Maybe save up and buy a motorcycle and travel accross Latin America meeting people and spreading good vibes.
You seem like a really good person deep down. Don't kill yourself man. I had a friend kill herself about a year and a half ago. I think about her almost every day. And it always hurts to do so. I'm sure you have people in your life that love you. If for no other reason live for them. Show love back towards them and make their lives happy. If you truly love someone their happiness will be your happiness too.
Don't give up. You're smart. You can read and write and ponder the great mysteries of the universe. That's more than a hell of a lot of people.
It sucks that you're friends or the people you associate with can't appreciate you for you are. But you know what?

Yeah in many ways humanity is killing the planet. But guess what? The planet is going to kill off the unsustainable population and it'll most likely be all good again. The planet is going to be just fine OP. Alot of humans might die off in the future but many animals will adapt and survive. Atleast move out to the country side, go camping, meditate, get a girlfriend, move states, do psychedelics, and find your creative side before you decide if you're going to end it.

Maybe a good dose of morning glory would change your whole outlook, unless you are schizophrenic. For now just take a walk around nature and clear your thoughts, don't focus on one little prison cell amongst this immense infinity. It's a maddening endless shitstorm but its
