 fucking totaled my truck

So driving to my our friends house i totaled my truck. It was alittle rainy. The patched this road and when it gets wet its way more fucking slick than a normal rd. Theres been 4 accidents there the last month. These asses out here dont want to fix that shit either. I guess someone is going to have to die before something gets done.
My girl is 18 weeks pregnant and she got a concussion, i had to get the back of my head stapled. Our son didnt get a scratch at all thank god. After all this i got 3 fucking tickets out of it. Im just glad we didnt get fucked up. Im still pissed

I didnt know that it was known for accidents. I was doing well under the speed limit too. The only way i found out was that the guy that lives right there told me about them, he said hell go to court with me if he has too. And ill get the other accident reports for that same damn spot. Hopefully now theyll fix the damn road before someone else gets hurt.

I bet the three tickets were for speeding, C&R, and failure to reduce speed as necessary to avoid an accident. Fucking dicks. I Had an accident some year ago and I got ticketed for something like that too. I swerved to miss a deer and ended up in a ditch. Just glad you guys are all okay!!

Shitty.
my car was totalled by my neighbours wild kids.
it was in the yard and they crawled on top of it and tore out #1 the windshield wipers, and #2 the weather stripping on the moon roof. i wasnt driving it over winter so i didnt know the interior got soaked with water and got really moldy!!!
needless to say it cost more to fix the car than the car was worth soo yeah, fucking kids/neighbour.

I was at fault for three accidents that involved other cars and I never got a ticket.. and I was a minor when all that happened too...

There is NO WAY I wouldnt fight this. If I were you OP, I would hire a lawyer, get pics of the area as soon as possible, and take them to court for damages. Your wife was pregnant, who knows if the fetus could have sustained a minor injury or worse.
This shit happened to my brother when he was younger, riding a skateboard and there was some fucked up crack he hit and sprained his arm pretty bad. He got pictures that day and filed a claim against the city. The next day they had patched up the sidewalk and I think tried to argue that there was no crack, but he already had pics. He got $1800 for it or something.
If it were the other way around, the city would try and wring you for every dollar they could (look at the tickets you received). You HAVE to fight for yourself!

Oh hell yea im going to fight this. My mother in law works for a different county said i should sue them. Im not letting this go, its too fucked up. Especially since they know about the problem there. Theres been plenty of wrecks there.

Better hope there is some sort of engineering negligence on the city/county that paved the road. Otherwise, the city will just say: "The road is up to code", sorry you crashed, see ya later.
