ELP is classic rock from the seventies... Time of Orchids is something you don't even fuckin' know.
no offense, but... isn't that a big enough difference right there? the guy that said that shit didn't hear of them either until i told him to check them out.
here, does this sound like fucking ELP?

there is plenty of different kind of jazz... but it's all jazz... anyone who says the phrase you've uttered, would have to be considered an idiot, by anyone's standard ruler of idiocy. right?

Sorry but that sounds fucking terrible. Sounds like a high school wanna-be radiohead band. Definitely not ELP. Perhaps I missed the joke.

see? dumb. the band is completely compelling, complex in their composition and dynamics (which is not radiofuckingheads biggest asset) and they actually have a recording and writing process that isn't dolled out for the sake of "cool sound effects" but for the sake of "clear and sound production".
but you don't either know the difference, or you simply are making a snap judgement.
but it's not your "type" of music, right? or is it just simply too hard to relate to?
either way, your comment is a good example of how most people judge music. personal colors.
PS: the "joke" is between waht people hear in their heads, what is actually played in the music. you didn't get it. nor did the fool who compared the two bands.
(plus, the guys voice is high so it's highschool? no one from HS could play the bass, guitar, or drum pieces they are playing, unless they were trained; as they extremely well composed. unlike any "alt" rock band like Radiohead. compare something like TOO to something as bland and mainstream as you could guess eh? LOL some people)

I could see how some people would like it. The musical skill seems pretty limited and honestly the arrangement has potential but is rather lacking. To each their own I guess. I still stand by my statement that skrillex blows.

how is it lacking? i'd like to hear your opinion. there is no soloing, is that why? maybe you should try another track... i usually give somebody anything that they can work with and either they hate it or like, no two ways about it... but i'll give it a whirl. if you think this song requires no "skill" then, alright, this will totally be pointless. but here is a different song of the album (you know... different songs)
i have to upload it. look above.

I'll check it out tomorrow. I'm listening on my shitty laptop speakers so I didn't really get a good listen. I'll throw on my phones when I awaken and I'll update the thread.

sure. you know, that other song i posted is "slower" and "more linear" then any of the other tracks on the album... plus more "whiny", due to the lyrics being so sentimental. it's done on purpose.
