I am killing myself. I see so much potential in the world but if we reach the year 2013 and mediocrity continues to prevail and business keeps running as usual im taking a gun to my mouth and pulling the trigger. I don't even want a drastic change in the world just a light at the end of the tunnel you know? If not im done I cant endure this shit any longer. Does any one else feel the same?

If something doesn't happen this year then I officially lose all faith in humanity. You can call me pessimistic but there is no way I can endure a life time on this planet the way things are.

Yeah, pretty much what Trip Forever said.
I felt the same way you did, until I realized/remembered that the world is not how you and I perceive it. I was becoming evermore depressed and felt that there was no hope. Then I realized that I always see the bad in things before I see the good in them, if at all. I changed my attitude and realized that it's all about that...attitude.
Humans have simple linear-track minds in the sense that what we know is what we see. From a realistic and psychological standpoint, just change the way you percieve things. And I'm not saying: "Forget about all of the fucked up shit in the world."
Yes, there are terrible things out there. But do you think feeling glum or angry about it fixes or solves any of it?

Thanks newgui, all my opinions on this matter are from personal experience/thoughts  I may be being a little harsh, but if people weren't harsh about how I was before then I'd be a lonely/miserable person rotting away rarely having any joy.
