Not all discolor is contam

I have some colonizing right now that the inside of the lid on the jars have rusted a little and the condensation has carried some rust coloration down onto the mycelium and turned some off them brown, some tan, ect.... so know your ontams before you throw out a perfectly fine batch.

Well rather then post another thread about this, since you opened it for discussion, I have a "possible contam" (obviously not rust related) that fits that discription (this is my first attempt to cultivate, so I don't really know much, but I will upload the pics, since you seem to have an idea .
The spot in question:

The other "Clean side" of the cake for reference:

It's very fuzzy looking, and it's looking bad, I'm keeping it in "sick bay" away from the rest of the clan, this is the only one with a spot like that thus far.

Oh that cake is the same cake in both pics, just the back side of the first, and I am going to right now, thanks! It seems like it snuck through the "dry layer" somehow (I suspect there was substrate there that didn't get removed). I wish I had a better cam to show you, but I suspected it was cobweb, lighter-grey color, it's the only jar from that set that has that, the rest are just about fully colonized with a white healthy sheen. The rest of my Cambodian strain is going great, one of them already has a ton of pins! (they fully colonized like 2 days ago, and already pinning!) So glad I put that in the Sick Bay when I had a bad feeling about it.

Put it in my terrarium and already seeing noticeable growth after 5 hours.

I'm amazed at how fast they're growing, everytime I fan them they seem to be bigger, and more pins seem to be popping! Using some ghetto poor man terreriams, but keeping them in a sterile environment (sterile plastic tub). Yeah it's a little tedious, but for my first time, i figured I could limit contams this way, I have a real messy apartment, but this sort of creates a sealed enviornment. Lysol the surrounding air, wait 10 minutes, open, fan, close. x 4 times a day.
I'm planning to make a shotgun terrerium when I get back from out of town (don't worry, I have a babysitter for them!) Just have two poor man 2 liters and it's tedious doing the fanning.
