and it also coincides with mayan and hindu prophecy as well, and everyone seems to be going about like everything is fine and dandy. where is Jesus or God or whoever it is that's in charge here? i need to find it to beg it for forgiveness and mercy because my life hasn't been too great

You don't need some kind of intermediary. That kind of thinking was created by a certain power structure. Just say "Yo, God or whoever it is that's in charge here, I'm sorry I f'd up dude. I'm gonna try not to be such a douche in the future." Or whatever language comes naturally to you.

Christianity is the most silly, superstitious religion. Read the Kali-Yuga thread for a better perspective. If you really want to wave you arms and sing glory hallelujah... then go find a Baptist forum and just say no.

if christianity is the truth then i'm sorry to say that their representatives have been doing an absolutely terrible job of keeping things in order around here. they totally f'd up by paving the roads, and making certain places like wal-mart think that they own everything worth having and that we need to do some sort of special activity like delivering pizza or balancing a customer's checkbook to earn enough points to be able to get the things we need. christianity being the main religion in the world at this time, how did things get so f'd up if they were following christ's teachings

the doubting part of me wants me to think that that's where the "salt of the earth" thing comes in, but honestly, christ's teaching were beautiful and if he is the one and the messiah then i desire his forgiveness or for the bigesst of big god, the one who's in charge of who's in charge here to please speak up, make Itself present so i can speak with It about healing and forgiveness for my life. the world is in a terrible state, and i've lived in the world for my whole life, so part of it's rubbed off and i need it washed away

Everything is fine and dandy for many people. And then there's the rest of us.
I'm personally not worried about the world ending. It sort of ended awhile back for me. Now I'm just an observer.
-------------------- "People convince themselves of their own lies, becoming victims of their own inventions as they begin to direct their lives by standards of behavior, ideas, feelings, or instincts which do not correspond to their inner reality. What is truly serious in this matter is that the individual loses all points of reference regarding what comprises truth, and what comprises lies. He becomes used to considering as true only that which is convenient for his personal interests; everything that is in opposition to his self-esteem or in conflict with already established prejudices, he considers false."

Times are a-changing, and if people want to atone for things they regret, so much the better. I like it when I see people on similar paths to my own.

maybe... Maybe the world as we know it is ending. Maybe it's it's end, maybe it's just a change. From what I read in an amazing book by Thakar Singh (rip), we are ending the era of negative force domination and switching to positive force domination. This happens to coincide with what a lot of self proclaimed insightful people are saying. Don't have to buy it, but then again, don't have to believe in an apocalypse either. The law of attraction is strong. The stories are written. By the force of the law you're choosing which reality course you're taking. It's up to YOU what will happen to you.
Here's another work of fiction, solemnly for your entertainment. Venus will cross the path between us and the Sun very soon(the passover). (may 26th I think) This will complete the opening of the 'door' between us and the ones who have already broken the cycles(buddhas). It's been opening up for a while now. You can see it's effects all over the place already. The pathway (to heaven) will stay open until december 21st this year. We have this time, to get as close to the Christ perfection as possible. We'll find ourselves in darkness for 3 days (probably just metaphorical) On dec. 22 it will be the judgement day. Humanity on trial. Are we worthy? The creator loves all of us, there will be no suffering, unless the karmic debt has to be leveled out. It will take a while. Next day - merry christmas, it's the new age.

Hahaha totally agree except "the sky" part .... Its not falling, but the moon is slowly leaving us every second of everyday. With out the moon our planet would not have a stable axis, and would wobble causing a place where no one or thing could live.
My 2 cents
EDIT: but back on topic, if you "sin"cerely believe Christianity is the right path, then repent your sins and become a good christian.

I have a feeling more of the muslims are real muslims and about half or more of those christions are "non denominational"/full of shit pretenders.
