Someone may have posted this already; however, keep coming back to it over the months and thought it could be shared.
Link here if needed.

I don't believe it. If someone has a heart attack from laughter then they are in extremely poor shape indeed.
Link?

There's laughing & there's forced laughter, this laughing yoga is pretty intense, not just a giggle.
I just read the news article about the heart attack in passing one day, i have no interest to go searching for a link it would be a waste of my precious time, but if you like you can take this as more evidence i speak out of my arse, if that suits you

i tried laughing yoga and it's quite exhausting just a few minutes of non-stop forced laughing leaves you very tired, out of breath, winded, etc - didn't get anything of value out of it tho

i heard people practising laughing yoga in not far from my bungalow while staying in goa (they got all kinds of spiritual practice going on in there) and it didn't sound like they got into a really good fiber-shaking laughter, just kind of hahaha ha. the best laugh i've ever had (on ayahuasca) i didn't actually make a peep.
here's a few vids that have given me laughs, especially the first one

Isn't it up to the student to decide what level to practice at? The beginner who tries an advanced head stand might sustain injury. Is yoga at fault? Considering the scientific research into the benefits of laughter it would seem worthwhile to me. And just like any yoga where many positions are relatively "unnatural" positions for the human body to find itself in, the person who has lost track of the healing power of laughter due to lack of use needs to " fake it until they make it" so to speak. I think after awhile that laughter would become more relaxed and natural. I think it's a good idea myself and sometimes do that or smile meditations.

Fair enough, if you feel it helps you then that's good
Im sure that fake it til you make it can work pretty well for some but i just can't do it, i can't even fake smile for photos!

That which God said to the rose, and caused it to laugh in full-blown beauty, He said to my heart, and made it a hundred times more beautiful.
