Do you find the Shroomery Beneficial?

Beneficial in a spiritual sense. When I first started posting here I found it helped a lot, but now I feel like it's mostly something I do to relax and waste time. There will be an occasional deep thread that will get me thinking. I don't think it hurts too much though, and it's better wasting time here then watching tv or video games, I think. What say you?

IMO, you get out of it what you put in. It's easy to pick out the posters who are looking to communicate in a meaningful way from those who are just here for shits and giggles. Both types seem to come and go.
Personally, I've grown fond of this community over the years and value the opinions and experiences of many of those who post here. I real open-minded, cool group of people. Everything is fine in moderation, so as long as one is not spending all their time on here, I really don't see a problem.

i find this site like many things goes in waves - sometimes there's a lot of really spiritually-applicable and invigorating discussions, then other times it's a bit dryer. the posters here though are very neat people imo, and offer a range of different approaches to life - i've yet to come across a site/group that offers such dynamics. though like you, i often find my time here is 'just relaxing' - but there's nothing wrong with that imo. so it's all good in the vast expanse or something

Its really funny you posted this. Earlier today I was thinking about posting but then I decided it would probably be a better thing to just keep on being outside. Then i thought of posting a question asking if posting was just a way to distract from being, or if it helped one move closer sometimes, or both. I didnt though, but you did exactly what I had no words for

Shraoomery rocks
Multiple experiences
Discussions and information that can effect ones path, like anywhere else. But a stronger construct more or less of what is being discussed then a conversation with a stranger. More to the point of what is trying to be said and discussed imo.
But also the conversation with stranger can sometimes go that way..
Presenting a thread in verbal form to someone you are casually conversing with is an interesting idea now that I think about it. I guess it probably occurs more or less in smaller bits and pieces.

I think about this at least once a week... I am thankful this place exists. I am thankful all of you exist and are sharing your presence here.
It's a place that draws 'people like us' together. Rare is the person I can actually sit down and talk about half the shit we talk about here on an intellectual level. By sharing your presence(s) here and reciprocating with me you all help me learn and grow, and for that I am truly grateful.

I love it, through the shroomery i got linked to everything i needed to awaken to the truth, without being here im 100% sure i was destined to come across Ramana & Self inquiry due to past life connections, but without the shroomery it may have taken much longer, i was posting here trying to find how to be free from suffering & a poster here called Lion pointed me to Mooji as he saw i was in the UK, without him turning me onto Mooji it could've taken much longer & i was suffering bad so im really really grateful to Lion, i'd do pretty much anything for him really if he asked, i couldn't repay him enough.
I kept coming back here because i was tasting the truth on mushroom trips & wanting to find out how to acess that same place all the time, i feel extremely blessed to have actually found it out!

I wonder who Lion heard about Mooji from. The most powerful mystical experience of my life was triggered by an audio file sent to me in a Shroomery PM. I am deeply grateful.

I too, wouldn't come across teachings of Ramana, Mooji and other texts, which are ultimately pointing to the same thing, if not this forum. It has really helped me to be happy & get closer to the truth. I don't really post often, but I read pretty much here. I'd better chill on shroomery than play games or do something pointless.

You know, for me, the shroomery is definitely beneficial. There have been times where Ive needed to hear something or had a question, and like opening the tao de ching to a random page, have found exactly what I needed.
Thanks Kickle I just realized theres a woman in the picture too. Makes it more

The Shroomery is a magnet for our dreams and confusions, to be deciphered and plundered at a later date in the digital noosphere.
