This needs to be said: there never was a war. "How can you say that, Bill?" Well, a war is when two armies are fighting. So you can see, right there, there never was a war … People say to me, "Hey, Bill, the war made us feel better about ourselves." Really? What kind of people are these with such low self-esteem that they need a war to feel better about themselves? May I suggest, instead of a war to feel better about yourself, perhaps … sit-ups? Maybe a fruit cup? Eight glasses of water a day? -Bill Hicks

I'm not really seeing a contam, either.
7 days for colonization & consolidation sounds a bit short. Make sure to let your tub consolidate for a few days after 100% colonization.
I like to introduce Fruiting Conditions when I see a few decent sized pins. That way I know the substrate is 100% & ready.

If it was mean green, you'd notice significant growth in 24 hours.
I've seen a spec of trich on the center of a monotub start about the size of marble. In two days time, the entire substrate was covered w/ green.

i thought it would've taken over by now for sure as well. but it hasnt moved. i thought about covering up the holes again with micro pore tape since i started fruiting conditions early, but i think im jsut going to let that be as well. if it takes a little longer than thats an easy lesson given for impatience.

Yea, don't put it back into colonization. You'll most likely get a mold outbreak due to it.
