That is a solid idea. I like it.

I didn't call them that. I called OTD that.  That's the loophole in the shroomery system.  It's hypocritical imo but keeps full on flame wars from erupting.  Life ain't as perfect as we had hoped.

I find the ignore function faulty for the reason I stated above.  For instance John can respond to all your posts challenging you to provide back up for your claims or asking questions and it looks like you aren't willing to respond.  This can be taken in many ways by other debaters or those viewing debates.

Yes, I agree that is a fault ... But it is soooo worth it, anyway.  To be fair, I think it's not only good for me, it's good for him, too, not going round and round pointlessly.  Ignore function still gets the

I think that (johns) persona might actually be a computer program so I wouldn't worry too much about his end of it.

An image of a stereotypical dishonest, militant Arab.
This should be taken down immediately.
Countless people have been led to racism, even before making it to the message board, and that's where all the good racism is.

No, not unless I am literally your son.
Too late. Because of that a white man just decided to deny a loan to a black person.

You are a mod. Should probably just ban yourself.

I, personally, am offended as fuck about this asian guy using the term "whitewashed" in reference to "acting white". That's racist. This is not the forum for such offensive and off-color remarks. I feel there needs to be modulation and moderation upon his bitch racist ass, asap.

Just a simple question. Some people feel that this site promotes racism, particularly with smileys like :niggawe: :feelsnegroman: :waddymelon: and also a general tolerance for things like the "n-word" when used in a non-racist context. Others feel like it's simply a matter of people expressing themselves, and cracking down on this behavior would run counter to the site's goals of free expression. What's your opinion?

I do not feel that this site promotes racisim one bit, not in the smileys at all( I find that to fall under artistic expression), but generally in todays American culture the "n" word is thrown around too much IMHO, and this site tolerates that(I know I may be an "OTD-er", but I am looking at the Pub/Pubbers here.).

I am all for freedom of speech/free expression.  but every user here could take a small step towards a less "n" word environment IMHO, what would it hurt? nothing, that is what.  it shouldn't be an admin/policy issue so much as a personal user responsibility/issue IMHO, just like following many other culturally/society acceptable things.  user responsibility is where it starts.
I am also for representing an online community that I enjoy without appearing so much racist/ignorant/intolerant.  but the fact is we are not all the same & will not always get along. for better or worse.  I hope in this day and age as the world gets smaller and smaller we can realize that, and try and be more open/less ignorant appearing as an online community.

it is your BBQ Ythan, do what you like , and thank you for bringing this up, I see the communications channels are more open than I might have previously thought...  ...you have a great team both Admins/and Moderators, and it shows more and more each year.  Thank you, and thank them for me, Ranchtitties. (don't ban me, brah:lol:)

Why the hell would a small minority want the majority to conform to them.....for the record....please feel free to call me any and all names associated with the white race......I could care less. I feel like we back in high-school with this shit...grow up folks .
On that note I am taking my cracker honkey whitebread ass to bed peace.

:waddymelon: watermelon pickaninny stereotype

:redneck: Tag: redneck

:mexican: latino sterotype

:homo: "homo" insult

:hanky: "faggotry" homophobia

:titsgtfo: saying "tits or GTFO can get you banned

:nignored: NIGnored, racist play on words

:lolocaust:  Tag: lolocaust. disrespectful pun at the Holocaust, in some countries potentially illegal.

:god: Tag: god. God as the South Park atheist joke.

:niggawe: Minstrel show coonface with a tag as a racist play on words.

:tard: Tag: tard. disrespect to the mentally challenged

 Tag: fagface. unsympathetic caricature of a gay man Homophobia.

:feelsnegroman: Feelsnegroman feels pre-civil rights movement man.

:tyrone: racist image actually lifted from a racist pamphlet.

:inbred: Tag: inbred. mockery of the genetically challenged.

:posttits: post tits or GTFO can get you banned.

:orry: racist caricature of Asians.

I don't see this site as even remotely racist at all and as far as the Nigger word goes I just feel it's pretty taboo. I've never heard or seen anyone use or say it. I always feel really welcomed at this site and everyone on here is AWESOME!!
