Schizophrenia makes him believe this. It's not like he can think rationally when he doesn't take his meds and just say " Oh well, it's just me being paranoid! ". And telling him the air vents wouldn't be a good spot to hide cameras won't change anything, because this is what he thinks is reality.
Eat a bunch of datura seeds, wait until you're hallucinating really hard and try listening to your trip sitter when he tells you "I swear man, there's nobody else in this room". It doesn't work that way, you can't talk a schizophrenic out of his paranoia.
Because it's like he's fucking HIGH, and all the common sense in the world won't change anything.

My eldest brother has schizophrenia. Would it be cruel of me to break into his flat and dose all his food with lsd?
Cause I feel like doing that.

So then how is he able to come and post here about these delusions and identify them as such?
I feel like people are trying to lecture me on schizophrenia when I'm just trying to talk to a schizophrenic. I'm just curious.
Looks like he isn't going to respond to me so I guess this was all pointless anyway.

I'm not trying to lecture you man, I understand how you feel and how hard this must be to comprehend.
He took 40mg of Xanax and he probably took his anti-psychotics since his relapse, that's why he's able to use a computer instead of hiding under his bed.

He's just creative, there's probably a good reason in his mind for the goverment to plant some shit in his car and track him.
It's not that crazy.
However I think taken drugs that give users withdrawls that are worse then the condition is.

Okay, that may have been bad advice. Personally, I always advised against him having a child. (I don't know if this was prior or after he conceived it)
Let me rephrase that, Bundy whatever you do, do it with the best intention for your daughter/son not yourself. A child's mind is extremely impressionable and you don't want him to go through traumatic experiences in his life, especially with a possibility of being schizo.

My on all the responses I see from you.

Some of the people in this tread are just dicks to him. Everyone needs a place to vent, and his is the shroomery. Whats wrong with that?
anyways Bundy, ever since I saw a post of yours about your schizophrenia I was wondering did psychedelics bring it out? Do/did you ever take psychedelics?
Just wondering cause a friend of mines mum has schizophrenia and she wants to try mushrooms no matter how much I tell her not to.

I'm curious to hear the story of the first time you heard voices and whatnot. If you wouldn't mind posting about it, it would be appreciated.

No, an answer would be coming from Bundy, you know, the guy claiming all this.. I don't even know why you were responding to me to begin with. For example:
Quote:
MorphinTime said: Whether one's delusions have any logical footing depends on the individual. Delusions are often the manifestations of fears or anxieties; fears and anxieties are not always rational.
You think I don't know this? What did I say that implied I wasn't aware of that? Seriously confused. I even said that I feel like most people with this sort of condition believe in things that can't be as easily disproved.
Another great example:

I've taken entry level psychology classes in college (take that for what it is), I'm just trying to talk to someone who suffers from it.
Please, just one more person give me some basic info about schizophrenia.
Am I really typing like I never even heard of this condition before today? I think this thread is making me go crazy.
I just wanted to hear from Bundy, not everyone else.

I dont believe in schizophrenia...
i think its environmental / developmental, nurture, not nature.
i think drugs make it worse long term...
psychologists make up disorders ways to justify their profession and to sell drugs to get paid.

Honestly, yes.
You asked how he doesn't realize they're just delusions and then suggested he just prove said delusions false.
Sounds like you don't know shit about schizophrenia.
Edit: okay, you asked how he came about realizing they were delusions
he had an episode
So, yeah. Still sounds about the same.

Can you show me where I asked that? Please, because I never asked that at all. My first post of the thread was asking WHEN he realizes they are just delusions.

See my edit.
Condescending??
You ask questions and then we answer them and you start crying that you're being lectured.
Then, you claim It's all basic information and imply you're well aware of it when you clearly aren't.
We're trying to help you and you're turning the other way.

How can drugs make something worse that you believe is non-existent?
Don't say it doesn't exist, then proceed to say drugs make it worse.
Most psychological problems are due to environmental/developmental nurturing, which doesn't constitute it as non-existent.
Not all psychologists care about the money either, I mean yes, they do but to support themselves, but some of them actually care about the well being of their patients. Don't be so naive.
