i noticed the growth after i dunked. it grows a little more each day. i want to say its myc covering the spots where i picked last, but im really not sure.

If there was a stump there from where you cut your mushrooms they will fuzz over like that after a couple days. It's too small to tell but it does bare a resemblance to mold starting to appear. Nothing you can do about it either way. If it starts turning green you'll know.

how quickly would it turn? most my mushrooms are ready to harvest. should i pick them now or wait until they are actually ready? i really think its from my first flush. i had some HUGE fucking fruits.

oh, i did notice the spots maybe 4 days ago and they havent changed color. is it possible for myc to grow through out the fruiting period even after the tub has been dunked?

Is it still pinning? If not, your substrate may be done. But I'm not a 100% on this either so just wait to see what happens since this is your only tub....right? RR said in another post that I read that you can tell when your cake/substrate is exhausted when you start to see some small patches of green.

i dont see any green. there is small patches of yellow/ tan. it is also pinning a bit. should i let some water trickle over for a bit?
what about the spots that are circled?

Don't worry about it unless it starts turning, it could always be mycelium. It should blend in with the other myc though, growing out of colonized areas and not over them and not forming little borders between the two.

did you see the new thread i made? the fuzz is covering the pins, the yellow/ tan color i noticed a couple weeks ago has turned into a slight green, and one of the stumps is covered in a weird dark color. there are no mushies over it so its nots spores...

Stumps bruise just like Mushies from the psilocin being introduced to oxygen, yellow is usually just metabolies because something is stressing the myc. Could be an early sign of a contam but could just be dry or aging myc. I'm convinced the fuzziness is just new myc but of course ucan see it better than me. Contams are usually black green or red, exculding bacterial and yeast contams.
Edit: Missed the part where u said the yellow is turning a slight green. Green is never good lol. And the trich I had did have a yellow tint before it sporilated. Good call

I'd harvest your mushrooms when they're ready. If there's no green, not counting mushroom stumps, dunk and see what happens.
