 almost burned my apartment down

Just thought i would share this story that happened last night. Well i just happened to have lots of shake from a bag and desided to make some butaine extracted oil. So i prepair and start running the butaine throught the glass tube. My friend thought it was a good time to smoke a bowl and lit the light. WOOOOOOOFFFFFF was the sound i heard as my whole counter erupted in a huge flame. we threw and flung things and soon the fire was also on the counter across from the other counter. Luckely the fire dissapaited and when the fuel ran out so did the flame. My medicali bong got knocked over and the fire alarm went off. My friend lost lots of his hair and i burned my arm hair off. This was one of the most intense things ive experienced before. I relize my friend is a fucking dumb ass, as he relizes it now too lol. well hopefully you guys get a kick out of the story.

Ive seen and heard this happen too often. DO NOT extract with butane inside. Its that simple. A few kids I know were extracting with butane in their kitchen and the shit blew up, nearly caught the whole kitchen on fire. Luckily no one was hurt.

Didnt loose all the hash either! i got about a gram from it. I did have to search for it tho, i threw the sink on and tossed the bowl into the water, so the oil was all over the sink lol.
The idiot knows he fucked up tho, i am happy tho that the can didnt blow up, i threw that bottle fast and far. Was a good adrenalin rush, thinking about cops coming and finding all the mushroom stuff.
i can see it now.
apartment fire leads police to find a mushroom grow operation in apartment.
im just happy everything is ok and that it was a well lesson learned. well for my friend anyways.

glad you're ok OP, a bunch of stoned people trying to purify weed with compressed butane indoors while trying to smoke more weed is a situation that is just begging to go bad.

btw me and a friend drafted an idea for a simple mechanical force amplifier and casing/.drainage machine that would enable one to use up to 20 cans of high quality butane at once, through 20 pvc pipes full of trim or herb. It was set up to drain perfectly to a warm pyrex pan, which could then easily be transported to a vacuum purifier \\
it would basically allow one to extract and make Earwax /BHO on an semi-industrial scale, at least relative to the primitive muscle power extraction techniques that permeate the underground today, the force amplifier still runs on muscle power but acts as a lever, and since to drain butane cans you only need to push the cash a half inch or so, but with a lot of force, it is a heavy lever with a very high force/ distance output (our end moves 20x as far as the other and only requires 1/20th the force, ideally anyways) with a flat metal plate at the end with a pivot/hinge combo to keep a perpendicular force plane to the surface of the 20 cans, which are held in place by a designed casing system

I am broke and my friend who owns a clinic was supposed to put down the capital and I would just basically help work the machine, and design it obviously. Too bad it got raided recently and he has been having a lot of trouble getting started again, so there are basically no funds for it right now and if he were to get raided again for any reason and they found him with a semi-industrial butane extraction device they would probably come in with hazmat suits and fuck him over big time.
I'm no metal pro, so it would be mostly wood and pre assembled joints/pivots/hinges, but the idea was pretty simple. The idea came to me when I saw my friends making wax manually , and it dawned on me that we are fucking humans, were not supposed to be using strait muscle power for these types of things. We aren't supposed to be just holding everything and trying to juggle keeping this warm while stirring this for 3 hours while extracting this etc, what we are supposed to do is make one machine that can amplify the force and take away most of the tedious work.
If you want to know more about the whole design pm me and I can go into detail about the drainage system/ dimensions etc
