If we spend all our days in question, when God himself stands before you, the unquestionable.. you see? if we constantly question we will have been at least our lifetimes worth of questioning for whatever its worth, enough to notice the unquestionable, is this not God?

That sounds like way too easy of an answer to me

Why use the word "god"? It is really only applicable, in the modern sense, when applied to monotheistic religious beliefs; there have been and are others. What makes you think that there is any...accuracy, in using the word?
If all you have to do is claim ignorance to be correct...god sucks

Belief is not dangerous...only believing that you are correct is dangerous

But to point out..we can talk about the word God and how it could actually be the complete opposite yes I understand.. "I know nothing" this could be true...but I know you understood me quite well I am talking about whatever made all this.

yesyes...
I don't know, I am very Socratic in that way.
I love that quote from the apology, I have lived me life based upon it. The story about the Oracle of Delphi, naming him (Socrates) the wisest man in Athens... "...I came to the conclusion that I am the wisest man in Athens, only because I admit that I know nothing".
Have you ever read his (Plato) theory on the forms? Very good stuff~

Without supernova nothing would exist, stars burn hydrogen, they dont make it. Gold would not exist without supernova, ancient aliens tells of so "anicent" people who created us while mining for gold, but imo water is more rare than any of this other stuff right?

are you talking about the 5 platonic solids if so yes its very interesting I have pictures of them hanging in my room along with Alex Grey artwork I printed off that is...haha That way I dont need to turn on the PC to be inspired by the beautiful truth!
Yea I got a friend that always says that too haha.. never heard the story of Oracle of Delphi you should make a post about it I like when info comes to me
nahh check this, not bad info
Forms baby
Plato would have said it something like this I think (I did Latin/Ancient Greek dbl language major for my undergrad, so I have read a lot of Plato in Ancient Greek ). It is good to give respect to the gods, but the idea of any "god" mixing in the affairs of mortals is highly improbable. God to him was something "bigger" than our conception; especially idolatry of gods (from the world he lived in, meaning statuary depicting god's in human form or likeness).
The realm of the forms can be at least shown, in a cursory way, with a simple example. What it is is the "godly" realm. So, take one of our concepts, such as "justice"; what is justice? In the human world, there is no one definition of justice. Different cultures have different ideas, peoples, nations, ect ect; there is too much variation. In the realm of the forms, though, the "godly" realm, justice is one thing, no variation at all. its constant. Our souls can exist in this realm, but not our human forms. To catch a "glimpse" of this world, you must travel outside of yourself, meaning outside your body.
That is where the Elusian mystery cult becomes fascinating. In Plato's dialogue, The Meno, he has a really interesting interjection about the cult, and the significance of their ceremonies. In the dialogue, Socrates is trying to prove to (insert well off Greek's name here) that knowledge is not "learned" by humans, but "recalled" from the realm of the forms. Your soul "knows" everything, but as a human, you have to relearn them. So he goes up to a slave boy and presents him with a math problem; the boy gets it wrong. Then, to prove his little theory, he uses a stick in the dirt to write out equations, attempting to get the slave to understand what he is doing. Having done that, when he shows him a different yet similar math problem, the boy gets it right. As he is expounding upon the meaning of this to Greek whose name I can't remember, he brings up the cult. He says that the "initiates" (aka those who have gone through the secretive "ceremony", which I believe involved psychedelics) are better prepared for entrance to the afterlife, because they have real-life "experience" in travel outside of themselves and "touching base" with the "godly" world.
Interesting stuff
