Lucky for you guys I went out right after my last patch and found a second flush from that patch, which was even bigger the second time. I also found another huge patch a few blocks away from the first one. I'll be posting pictures soon.
Btw, I'm a he, not a she. The she is my girlfriend.

So after considering this very carefully, and resisting the idea of the Ovoid because they're known to grow mainly on the east coast, I submit. These are definitely Ovoids. Thanks for your help guys. The thing that sucks is that my girlfriend and I cleaned these guys off last night and they don't seem to be leaving a spore print...well, not a vary strong one anyway. The spores are definitely purple-brown and there is no sign of rusty brown spores so I think I'm safe. I also found them in a round-about covered in alder chips and rose bushes, so that isn't galleria territory I don't believe. I should only be worried about mossy spots and decaying wood, am I right? Anymore advice would be helpful.

how about the bruising ? are they bruising blue ? how many did you eat to get high.
a good tip for printing, is do it in a cool dark place, even the fridge for 24 hours, you should get a print. although they may be kinda young specimens. i asked before but i'll ask again, you know to save the stem butts right?

Yes, they all are bruising blue. Yes, I know to save the stem butts. I'm going to mix them in with the patch again, and hope for a bigger fruit next year. I'll probably mix them around the patch so that way I'll cover more ground.
I ate a little over a track (3.5 g) and tripped face. It was a very similar experience to P. Cyanescens. The colors were very soft, very bright, and very glossy. It was much more mystical than cubensis. and much more potent at that.
And to Maynard: I'm from Portland, Oregon.

I have also another question. I usually don't wash my shrooms, but my girlfriend wanted to because she hates the sandy crunch when she eats them. Will washing them with water wash out the spores? I tried to find this info everywhere and was unsuccessful.

For cleaning I'd leave out the water, just brush them lightly.
Congratulations for a very nice haul.

I have this spice rack, that is all. Great finds BTW, very lucky. What on earth is a track, is it a unit of measure or just slang?

I used one of my gal's paintbrushes to clean mine. It is a good opportunity to take your time to examine each fruit for critters and ID as well as sweep off any grit or dirt. Might take you a long time with all of those!
I am also interested in the etymology of "track" in this regard.

Maynard and Noiso already beat me to asking where "track" came from.

I have a cyan patch which is sandy... Once dry, you can de-sand easier than when fresh in my experience. Best to try and clean in the field as much as possible, cut off stem butts (save!) Washing fresh mushrooms is possible... Not desirable... Save that wash water!
FYI... If you make tea and strain ... Don't have the sand problem. Or use a really strong grinder and powder it all.
Track?

A track is an eighth, so 3.5 grams dry to be exact. They are all bruising blue/green now so I feel pretty confident they are all ovoids. Thanks for your help in identifying again.

You still didn't say whether the "track" you took was fresh or dried.
Also, if you spray a little water on the gills you might get a darker spore print.

How exactly is this done?

Does that really work? I will have to try that next time. I would say though that it may lead to rotting/unwanted condensation rather than a better spore print.
