No, unfortunately I don't. It wasn't anything exciting, just bark chips. I actually had to sneak back with some compadres at night because it was so out in the open. I just threw out the stems since they were pretty dirty and stunzii isn't too potent. They sure are pretty dried when you just have the caps though. Looks like a bunch of crunchy candys haha.

How sure are you that those are stuntzii? Where are all of the stems? Do you have some pictures of the gills? What was the habitat those were found in. If anything I would guess that they are Ovoids and not stuntzii.

The ovoids I found had a faint bluish annular marking. If they are P. ovoideocystidiata wouldn't they be generally much more potent than P. Stuntzii? and wouldn't the stems have been worth keeping?

Sorry I don't have more pictures but I can tell you about them. Spore print was dark purple, bruising was blue (although they did not bruise very much), and there was a partial veil on the stem. Cap was deep chestnut brown to tannish when dry. Stems were very short and meaty and I threw them out for several reasons. They were found in woodchips near the road. Gills were dark brown. However, I ate about a track of them last night and tripped pretty hard and from what I have read Stunzii are generally pretty low in psilocybin potency. I am going back to the spot I found them today because I left quite a few babies. Hopefully they havnt been harvested by another hunter. Anyways if i find some I will take some good pictures for identification.

Just an fyi ~ the stems can be used when fresh as both a spore deposit source and as a potential mycelium starter from the stem base.

Some folks will simply take old (or unwanted stems) and simply toss/place them a few feet away from the original location to help it develop.

My money is on ovoideocystidiata, sometimes they will have what looks like a partial veil (sorta like a stun{t}zii) but I think it's just a spore deposit on left on the stem.

i am pretty sure ovoids are considered an annulate Psylocybe anyways, thats  what caused the early confusion with P subaeruginascens a few years back in Cali. if they were potent then they were probably ovoids. but i dont know how much a " track " is. did you eat them fresh or dry ?

The stems of all of the shrooms were only about half an inch long...so the Ovoids are out of the question. I have heard that Stuntzii can grow in the spring, but not as common as they are in the fall/winter time. The only part that really threw me off was how potent they were. One of my favorite finds so far.

Stuntzii are... extremely weak. Doubtful it was them. Did you save any specimens by chance? Or could you snag a few more for science?
