LOL, 42% of "rape victims" have sex with the "offender" at a later date. The rape never took happened in the first place if a girl has sex with the man later on.
Regretting having sex is not rape, but many women think it is.

and applying it to only the 1:4 women in college will be raped in the
course of the 4 years they attend that statistic more than doubles the
number of reported rapes across the entire US AND the estimate of the rapes
that go unreported according to the FBI Uniform Crime Report. yes, rape is
bad but the numbers regarding rapes are much, much lower than we're led to
believe and all centered around funding for rape crisis centers

The one in three number is obviously exaggerated, for the U.S. and for the world, but let's not derail the thread by turning it into another discussion of rape statistics.
To get back to the overall message of the video in the original post: I am tired of people telling me to live in the moment and stop wasting my precious, short life. Don't you think I am already aware that I am wasting my life? If I knew how to be present, loving, and open to the now, to seize opportunities, and to be the change I want to see, I would fucking be doing it already, and your schmaltzy anecdotes are not going to change anything. Fuck off.

Women get raped constantly.
I'm kind of nauseated by how many of my female friends have been raped. A couple have been raped as children. The psychological damage is terrible, I notice a clear pattern of histrionics and narcissism among past victims. One friend told me recently she was raped at 9, and although I was shocked at such a young age, I had already long taken the rape as a given, just because she bore all the obvious marks.

Seriously though, this whole post is serious. Sit up and fucking pay attention. Either you're wondering why half the women you meet are fucked in the head, or you're a rapist. I personally would like to have revenge on any and all people who have done this to my friends or would do it again. It's one of the few things that could still provoke me into violent anger at this point.

Its impossible to waste your time. You are caught up in an eternal cycle of every possible thing in every possible sequence. Everything is as it should be, including our discontent with things being as they are. Nothing, not even death, can keep you from infinite achievement of your goals and fulfillment of your dreams.
Thats what I believe.

I'm not trying to advance or defend anyone's statistics. I just know that it's far more common than I ever thought possible before I became aware of it. 100,000 a year is still very bad.
