Hello! 
i just started renting this awesome little place with an interesting amount of yard space! 
im just exploding with ideas so i thought id make this log so you guys can join me for the ride and help me turn this yard into something dope! 
i drew an overhead map of my property to make it easier to plan things out however bear in mind its not exactly to scale
the big light blue rectangle on the right is my house, the one one the left is my Landlady's house.
the orange around her house is her yard space so i cant modify that without her permission :p
the white rectangle along the southern end of west wall is where i plan to build my chicken coop and rabbit pen 
all the X's stand for trees, green areas are patches i see to be ideal for growing food & medicine!
the pink square in the upper left was for a humongous blackberry bush taking over the whole corner of the yard. however after countless hours of battle we've managed to clear it out revealing an apple tree lol
when i first got this place everything was covered in tall grass and weeds. so i have done a quite bit of clearing work before these photos however here are some from just yesterday to give you an idea of what im working with!
here's the first thing you see when you pull in we have heirloom strawberries planted in the big planter box, pineapple sage growing against the house (delicious flowers & leaves!)and nothing yet in the small one this is in the SE corner of the map

NE corner of the map. the thing on the right is the huge orange rectangle on the map its a huge metal storage crate it has some planting space on the other side i didnt mark or photograph but ill cover that later.

here's a bunch of starts of several varieties of tomatoes, wonderberries, 2 kinds of basil, bok choy, lettuce, red russian kale, bell pepper cannabis strain arora indica (100%indica) NYSD, Budda (100% sativa)
potato plants popping up they are the var. german butterball
my purple perennial tree kale
purple widow (right) kiwi cough (left)
2 and a half year old asian pear tree i started from the seed of a delicious one from a friends backyard 
I plan to build a chicken coop raise chickens along with meat rabbits with all these foods and entheogens ill be growing throughout the year! 
expect many many more updates in the near future!

this is my cat Umbreon. you eat my plants, you wont know what hit you.
bunch of asperigus is popping up 
aside from that things are exploding with growth! my tree kale has like tripled in size haha and my potato plants are huge! poppies have sprouted, strawberries are fruiting deliciously :3
ive also got some blueberries in the ground, some red,white & orange carrots going aswell as a bunch of lettuce leaf beets (their above ground greens are delicious )
ill take photos as soon as im not working while the suns out ROFL.

Its the landlords car, he plans to give it to his son when he turns of age. the land lady told me what kind it was but all i can remember is that its a dodge. 
ill ask her again later
