Anon 2 you sound intelligent.
Yes the immigration of Jews into Palestine during the British mandate was fair and tolerated by the Palestinians but what happened after was not.
Living peacefully with people of another race is fine, but not when a huge number comes and then proclaims your homeland as their own.
Look at the situation now, its the Palestinians who are living in the refugee camps, surrounded by walls and fearing for their lives.
Yes Hamas is bad but if you were taken from you homes and forced to live in camps you would be angry too.

Fuck the British Mandate. As if that justifies the removal of the Palestinians and the murder of those people. The British had as much right to direct Palestine's future as it had the right to rape India. It seems black and white to me. Brits allowed the Jews to be aggressors with the backing of the US and the victims were the poor shleps who happened to inhabit the "Holy" land. There's no morality in the Jewish stance no matter how eloquent Alan Dershowitz argues.

The whole issue is about power and control of resources. One group displaced another group because they wanted their land. Spin it any way you want, but that's the Truth.
