Tried kava yesterday and this morning!
I like it, very mellow, i havn't tried any large doses yet, but its a very calm body buzz, and it's very relaxing. But it also gives me a little bit of energy.
Perfect for bedtime, or really anytime, but right before a shower is the best time IMO.
What do you guys think of it, and hows the Yogi Tea with Kava?

Valerian root has some analgesic effects from what i've experienced with it though haven't read anything about it. Just made me drowsy, a good natural sleep-aid thats about it.

It relieves anxiety mainly, but also has sedative effects. I experience more general "euphoria" with Kava, but IME valerian root has a slight benzo quality to it, very soothing/relaxing, similar to a low-dose Valium high. (The word Valium originated from the word Valerian!)
I haven't seen any Yogi Valerian Tea but found some at a natural food store. I've also seen Kava and Valerian extract capsules, but have not tried them. I prefer to drink 3-4 packets of Valerian in one cup as well.
If you enjoy Kava I see no reason why you wouldn't enjoy Valerian root, granted that you're consuming these teas for the effects and not the taste.
This reminds me, I need to order/try some Kratom!

And yeah! I was going to order some Kratom myself!
Always liked the buzz from opiates but i hate pharms.
Maybe thinking of trying some poppy seed tea..

I never had any effect when I tried kava tea. Maybe just didn't make it strong enough. Do you guys really get euphoric from it?
Kratom sounds more promising to me...

I just got a small effect. Nothing profound.
Kratom sounds a lot better IMO.

I took a bunch of Kava extract when I was in a bad mood once, and it definitely fucked me up. I was really relaxed, my vision was really slowed, had a weird buzz..... It wasn't euphoric though. In fact I didn't enjoy it. While I definitely knowingly took way more than the offically recommended dosage, I wasn't actually trying to get fucked up, so......
These days if I take it I'll just take the recommended dosage right before bed to aid my falling asleep.

I get the Yogi Kava tea sometimes, it's decent. Like the other person said, drink at least 2. I normally drink 2 cups of 2 packets each, and it's okay. Pretty subtle.

Check out how many mgs of kavalactones are in each tea bag or capsule. The experience I described was from 420mgs. As I said, I was surprised by the effects.
