I haven't eaten any L in almost 3 years. There's no way that I could just take it on a whim anymore. I'd need at least 3 days for a trip;
- One to focus on where I'm at (internally) & what I'm looking for from the experience, meditate, pray, etc, and travel to wherever it is I'm dosing at.
- That night for the trip.
- The next day to wander around marveling at nature & reflect on the experience.
- That evening/night to sleep, and the next day to travel home & continue my reflection.
That's just me though. A few years ago I'd probably be spun right now.

I haven't been. The last time was 7/4/09. I had a long battle with opiates & blow that eventually brought me to knees, so I quit everything in february of 2010. Now that I've been clean for a couple of years, learned, grown, healed, etc, I'm feeling like it's time again. I'm definitely at a place in my life where I feel that it would be very benefical. L is medicine. 
I'm planning on eating some after this semester is over. Either by myself or with a close friend, but probably by myself, out in the woods somewhere.
After that it'll probably be a long while before I do it again. Basically go about my life & only dose when I really feel the need for some of that special reflection & to re-check my ego. Every so many years or so...

Yessir. I dosed for the Dead's set. Great setting, but terrible mindset. Psychedelics got rough after a while. The place they opened me up to showed me a better way to live, but I kept on fucking up. Eventually I paid for that with every trip. It's going to be interesting to go into a trip with the perspective I have now, and all of the positive things that I've done with my life. I try not to speculate, but I feel as though a whole lot of healing & joy will take place.

Haha yeah i had a feeling you were at Rothbury. I am a fellow Rothburian myself.
Its always interesting to make a drastic life change, roll with it for a while, then dose some LSD.
Those kind of trips are the real life changing kind. The positive energy will build up to a point to which you have never felt. Then, it will explode leaving you with a experience you will remember for a lifetime

Rothbury was a great place. I only wish that I'd been healthier at the time. I wound up having a blast regardless though.

I've been sitting on 100+ hits of L for almost a year now, and I'm still trying to find the will to really trip.
I know I want to, I have to as long as I've had the stockpile, I just have weird peerceptions about things, ie. The 'right time' and wanting to be in my 'right mind'
I know a lot of it is really just me psyching myself out, and I just need to dose and feel awesome. I also realize there is a lot(including the scewed perceptions) that can be helped by the L.
I always go into a trip like, "Whoa, this is intense, was I ready for this? Maybe I should stop tripping..." and I always end like "Holy fuck I will never stop tripping ever, life is beautiful..."
I just have a slight apprehension, but I feel it getting closer. I very much want to, maybe bycicle day.....

This whole post is exactly where I am with tripping these days, even the part about sitting on a small stockpile. I'm glad I'm not the only one who psychs themselves out (no pun intended).

I go through that almost every time I trip, I always just attributed it to my ego trying to talk me out of it.
I just say fuck it eat it real quick before I have time to think about it, and I've never regretted it yet.
I mean, if you want to trip and you're in a good mood, why not? What else would you want?
