Im up in Sac and just last November feds came in and shutdown all but 5 dispensaries in the county, out of originally 100+ dispensaries.

Now that makes sense. I was spending this whole thread scratching my head as to why the local LAPD would raid your dispensary, since under state law it is legal to run a dispensary. But it sounds to me now that you guys didn't have your paperwork straight and were in violation of state law.
Now it would have been different if it was the feds, no explanation would be needed. Even if you had all your paperwork and were operating as a legal dispensary under state law, you wouldn't be under federal law.
Get your paperwork straight and make sure your boss is running a legit business in the laws of the state and you won't get any more visits from the LAPD, plain and simple.
DEA is a different story though.

Damn that sucks man, I honestly feel like law enforcement's on its last legs concerning weed. With legalization imminent I feel like the local cops and feds will get crazier and more extreme.

All law enforcement is corrupt to a certain degree. Alls I'm saying is that why would they go through the trouble of organizing and initiating a raid on a business that is operating completely and within accordance to state law?

lol...that's a bold statement...I lived in Los Angeles for 36 years...LAPD have always been corrupt, but it's nowhere near as bad now as it was 20 years ago...and it's nowhere near 100%.

Man, the police are so corrupt in my town. In the late 80s they were bringing in Cocaine and Weed into the town. Another officer threatened to get them in trouble. So the cops murdered the other officer and made it look like a suicide. They are still police officers at this very moment.
