actually, my girlfriend told me early on she had hpv. I'm a girl, btw. it didn't stop me from being with her, just made us more careful. And I trust her more because she told me upfront.
The ass that gave it to her did not tell her. I hope his dick falls off.
Also, there is an hpv vaccine now. so maybe you'll tell her and it'll be fine because she already got the vaccine.. plus she'll know she can trust you to tell the truth (even though we know you're a jerk)

Remember how shitty you felt when you found out you caught that shit, how depressed and empty you felt. Now why on earth would you want someone else to go through such a shitty experience. They're are plenty of websites that can accomodate people with STDs im sure you can find plenty of sluts on there and there will be no transmission of diseases, no awkward conversation to be had. thank you anonymous #9. that's the kind of answer i was looking for. from a girls point of view. your right it's not the end of the world or nothin.
to thedream... when i found out, my girl was like "whats that", i was like " i don't know, probably just a wart." i really didn't care. shit happens. i think i know which girl gave it to me though. sad thing is, she told me about the hpv, i just didn't give a fuck. herpes don't really bother me neither. it just sucks that it bothers girls so bad.

THANK YOU ANONYMOUS #9. i wasn't trying to be dick, i was looking for the answer of how not to be a dick. i met this girl named kelley at a festival about three months ago. when we were in a k hole heading back to my house, i was like "oh fuck". she was like whats wrong. i said hpv, she said whats that, i was like really do i need to get you a pamplet. its warts and they a vaccine for it. that stuff could give you cancer and i don't want to hurt you. she didn't say much, although she was in a slight k hole. when got back to the house i told her about herpes and how i cought it. she just looked at me and said "don't worry babe, your not going to give me anything we are already sharing". now we have the most bueatiful and honest relationship. she admitted that she has never been totally honest with any of her previos boyfriends. honesty is a good start to a healthy relationship. we both love each other very much. so thanks again anonomous number 9. your the only person who actually answered my ? the way i needed it to be answered. we haven't told anyone yet, but we plan on getting married at my family reunion in may. we don't want anyone thinking we are moving too fast or nothing. we are actaully, but it has alot to do with honesty. we have gone as far as taking fertility tests and an ovulation kit. we are both fertile, hiv free, and very happy that we can tell each other anything. neither one of us has ever been married or really talked about having kids in any of our previous relationships. i think it has alot to do with this is the first real relationship either one of us has ever had that we have nothing to hide and can trust each other. honesty is awesome. thanks anonomous #9. for being tuthful.

herpes can only be spread when your having an outbreak.
avoid sexual contact when youre having an outbreak and youre fine dude.
I was with a girl who didnt tell me she had the herp untill a coupole months into our relationship. Its hard to tell someone that when you really like them, i understood. I was scared that i had it for a while and when i got tested i discovered i had herpes but not the genital type. The doctor said i had it before i was with her which made me less susceptible to the genital type.
I've had an outbreak on my lip once in my life. No biggie
