 [ID] Man high on 'magic' mushrooms runs naked in traffic

GARDEN CITY -- Police say a naked Boise man admitted to being high on 'magic' mushrooms and marijuana when he was arrested early Tuesday morning.
Garden City Police say they were alerted just before 4 a.m. by citizen tips of a nude man running in traffic. When officers responded, they found 21-year-old Jordan Parley White, completely nude, running in traffic on the Glenwood Bridge over the Boise river.
Officers immediately detained Parley, then called paramedics to evaluate him due to the cold temps and because they suspected he was on drugs.
After searching the area, Officers eventually found Parley's white Toyota abandoned, facing west-bound in the east-bound lanes of Chinden Boulevard. Police did find a small amount of marijuana inside the car.
When questioned, 21-year-old Parley admitted to police that he'd been eating hallucinogenic mushrooms and smoking marijuana at home in Boise's North end earlier in the morning.
Parley was then taken to the Ada County Jail where he was booked on misdemeanor charges of drug possession and being under the influence of a controlled substance in public.

Of the three times total that I drove on psychedelics as a youth, it was perhaps one of the most dangerous things I've done in my life.
Definitely my top three. Also up there on my list is driving blackout drunk once. I'm glad I didn't kill anyone since I would've killed myself from guilt already.
People drive fucking terrible to begin with. Substances aren't going to make it any better.
Hell, I saw a wreck yesterday that killed three girls. Some asshole "tried to make it" so they got pushed up onto the curb, next car rear ends them and tin-cans them into a pole. I turned my head in time to see their faces right before they died.
Fuck that, I don't think any driver is "better" on any substance, they're bad enough as is.
Driving under the influence of any substance shouldn't be treated lighter or heavier than another. Then again, I've seen drunk drivers that are better than some people who shouldn't be on the road to begin with.
Either way, bad news bears.

LOL I has a a friend who did this same thing tripping on mushrooms his first time. He's kind of a dumb ass and always got super fucked up so everyone told him he probably shouldnt do them and then a few hours into the trip he ends up running down the street naked and got tackled by police and brought to 51/50 for the night. The next morning when he came to he had no recollection and was most pissed about the fact he had a catheter shoved in his dick.
