/if you want to change the dark/light cycle you should keep the lights on until you want the new off time to start. do not fuck with the DARK cycle. the 12 hours of darkness is whats imperative.
so keep your light on four hours longer (total of 16) then start your new off time.
plants can actually grow and put out damn good meds with only 6 hours on and 12 off. balee dat!!

 I know many growers who use molasses but what they dont know is it is their microbes breaking it down for the plant to take up.

molasses is great...provides plenty of carbs/sugars as well as calcium and magnesium...kinda eliminates the need for a cal mag product...unless of course you have a calmag whore on your hands.
i wouldnt give em molasses past week six. built up mag will make for a shitty end product.

mollases is the best if yeah there are micronutes in the soil to feed on them. milk is great for trichome production too, but again its imperative that there are microbes are breaking it down.

Update pics!!
I have a 600 watt hps but I can't set that up in my current living situation. I was thinking maybe getting a couple florescents to hang right beside the 150 but I want the cost of the lights to be balanced out by the weight I'd harvest and I'm not to sure it would be worth it, and yes all I have here is street dealers and clubs, I got a homie who sells bud but its a transportation issue to get to him. I'm just gonna harvest this, then hit the road up to Oregon with my fresh herbs for the drive there and I'll be happy with an ounce and a half. Can't wait to set up my 4'x6' tent with 2x600's, gonna be so sweet

Also I went to the grow shop to look for something that might "stimulate" the buds and encourage larger flowers but there was nothing I wanted to buy because I didn't know how they worked I was only going off labels :/

I'm starting to notice a good amount of transpiration even from this one small plant now that its a good ways into flowering, I can see how a good dehumidifier will be a necessity in a bigger garden.

Ended up cutting the chicken wire and tieing the plant together as Nalem recommended, the canopy is now getting much more light. By tieing it to the wire I achieved this cool formation where the buds on the side come up a little more and I bet are getting just as much light as directly underneath the bulb.

You should trim the bottom braches up. Then count 6 nodes down on each branch, and then cut the rest off and leave the six. Does fuckin wonders.

Another week I say, it smells amazing, not like any weed I've ever grown, sour, incredibly fruity smell, its a sativa dominant strain I think around 60/40 and its got really swollen calyxes. I just flushed about 2 gallons of water through the soil and probly 2 more waterings. I'm waiting for most of the pistils to turn brown from white before I harvest. Before I go big I definitely want to invest in PH testing equipment and a refractometer
Too bad my camera sucks, its a webcam not really made for high quality pics, maybe I can borrow someones camera phone

Seems like it may be a bit late now, but one cheap and worthwhile endevour many cannabis gardeners overlook is UV lights. UV light is directly related to THC production, so UV lights = more potent plants. Add 'em in at about 10-15% (wouldn't go more) of your total wattage and your plants will love you.
