What you think?
I'm sort of considering it to see if there are any girls hanging out alone but I don't know if it would feel lame to do that though. The nearest bar scene is around 10 minutes away from here. Wondering if going out to get a beer myself would be stupid lol, and wonder if anyone else has ever done it.

Pretty sure people do it all the time. I have a friend who likes to go to the bar and have a whiskey coke and cigarette after a haircut.

I've done it several times. It's not too uncommon I know a few people who do it.

I wouldn't drive there. I only tried it a couple times in college when I only had to walk there. I was only up for it if I could get plenty drunk. Even then I was shitty at making conversation out of thin air and didn't try it again.

ya dude, fuck, that's what i do like literally every night. but seriously, if it's only 10 minutes and you're not in some dodgy neighborhood rather walk.
and if you're going there to possibly meet a few girls, be as confident as you can - even if you're putting on a face to try act confident. And don't feel weird if you're chilling by the bar by yourself having a drink - i've had many girls come up and talk to me by simply just having a quiet drink at the bar.
Trust me, after you've done the first few times it becomes easier and easier to do.
besides, there's always the chance of it turning out to be the best night of your life  you'll never know if you don't go

op.. just go drive yourself to the bar man.. it aint uncommon at all.. thats why dive bars got cool bartenders. (typically)

LMFAO @ OP wondering if this has ever been done before.
OP: have you ever been to a bar before? Ever? Every time I go to a bar there's a handful of people riding solo. Most of them probably just getting off work and needing a drink.

Don't go to bar by yourself at night that's so lame. During the day I guess its alright I do it sometimes. Plus the cops aren't looking for drunk drivers during the day.

Sure. Done it many times while traveling. You fly into a new city, you can't just call up your buddies and head out, so you go by yourself. I've walked into a bar, sat down and had chit chat with the locals many times.
I've also attended pay-per-view sporting events at bars by myself.
Years ago, I lived across the street from a bar so I was a "regular" and walked in constantly.
