I've eaten mush a few dozen times now, and over time the experience is changing. DMT may have started the changes actually. For example before trying DMT my trips would be the typical color bleeding/saturation increase, much more 3d depth perception, ego splitting. I had one very intense trip where I was looking in the mirror and my face was replaced by another incarnation of myself from the Aztech period, as if we had met in the mushroom dimension for a split second, and he(me) was as astonished as I was. That night I also saw an aura over everything, one single life force that was emanating strongest from the forest outside but also from the house plants. I could feel actual love for the plants, which was amazing, because I could feel their life being the exact same as mine. I also went through another period that night, where after smoking some very nice weed, everything I said rhymed and it was completely involuntary and I was rolling on the grass outside under the stars at 5am, you could probably hear me for a mile in every direction. That night changed my life.
But lately I am experiencing some disturbing contact, something you might have to smoke DMT to understand. DMT makes you feel a presence... if any of you are familiar with how physics is turning to ideas of the multiverse being quite real, and perhaps what the planck unit refers to vaguely, basically one planck unit away is another universe just like this one. Some are saying when we look up to the stars, we are actually looking at a flat surface, or in other words 3 dimensional information encoded onto a 2d surface. Our minds eye could be a flat screen and depth could be a complete illusion. Or perhaps flatlanders, how a 3 dimensional being can see inside the internal organs of a 2 dimensional being, well the same can be said of a 4+ dimensional being looking down into our 3 dimensions. That's the basic idea... here's what happens - sometimes when I look in the mirror on mushrooms, my face warps around, meaning that particular bit of facial recognition wiring is being messed with, you can basically think of it as a piece of the code that your brian uses to encode what you see. So by eating shrooms its like being able to see behind the veil of normal perception ever so slightly. As it gets more intense, everything starts vibrating liek an old analogue TV thats not quite on the right channel, and I can feel many presences very close to me, as if I'm plugged into a virtual reality device and there's people watching over my real physical body that exists in some other dimension. They're becoming aware that I've found the secret out of the virtual reality and thus my temporary amnesia. During these moments I look up to the stars, I could swear there's someone right behind the stars and they could move them at any moment, and they're tempted to give me a sign because they can hear me asking mentally for them to show themselves, but they don't want to yet because if they actually did, I would probably shit my pants, to say the least...
And each time, they keep offering to let me out of the virtual reality, but they only seem to communicate with emotions, not direct thoughts, so I keep staying here because I have no way of asking them if my wife and children exist on the other side too.. I love them so much I would rather stay here in ignorance of the truth than to lose them. My intuition says they are there, but I can't know for sure. So I've never been forced into anything, but I'm afraid if I agree to go that I won't be able to come back for some reason.
hahahhahah... DMT was amazing but I almost wish I hadn't gone there. The above concepts being very possible, maybe even probable, doesn't help either.. does anyone have any advice for this? Because I'd liek to keep trippin as it has helped it always helps me in other ways and most of the time its a blast, and the spirituality its given me has given me alot of confidence as I no longer fear death for the most part, because I don't believe it exists anymore

This actually goes with an idea I thought of when I was high the other day. I'm always hearing about these psychedelic entities when tripping and people always say the entities communicate with them but not vice versa. So I was thinking would it be possible for someone to talk these entities and maybe make some cool shit happen.

I remember reading something on recent documents (named:y you know? or something like that) talking about that moment when you lose your identity, you lose everything, who you are, etc. and on the other side you become the godhead. It was a pretty amazing document but I don't know where it is now, think it was deleted. And I read in another document that when the time comes there is not much you can do to stop it. I don't really know though. I haven't been there.

Well, you find yourself faced with a tough decision.
1) You can escape "the matrix"
2) You can spend the rest of your life wondering what if.
It also depends on how seriously you take your experiences as being factual (I'll let joe take this one). I am guessing that if you ask them to take you, they probably won't. The reasons for this guess? I have felt similar things and when I tried to leave, nothing happened, probably because it was just a hallucination.
I would love to be proved wrong on this though. It would be amazing to be transported to another universe where the truth is clear for all to see.

That is very interesting. Can you elaborate on why it bothers you? I don't think words are really enough to describe it but just reading that doesn't sound too scary or disturbing... well, maybe a little. Experiencing it is quite different i'm sure.
I can't say i've ever felt something like that, but i know what your saying with the changes in perception. Are these entities pressuring you to do anything or think a certain way? The feeling of being watched does sound a bit unnerving, probably would make me uncomfortable. But then again how sure can you be that this stuff is real? And if you doubt that it is real, then it's just another series of altered perceptions and that's nothing i'd really worry about.
I don't know man, that is pretty deep. I guess it depends on why your taking the mushrooms or DMT as well. If it's just for the experience and your not super serious about it, maybe your just thinking about it too much? If you do have a more serious reason for using, i'm thinking that might possibly have something to do with it? Just some ideas hope it helps i really don't know what to say other than that. Very interesting and also a bit strange, not in a bad way.

It bothers me because I fear my wife and child were figments of my imagination. I know the truth is always best and I would rather know in the end, I'm just not ready to face it yet if it is true.
And yes, I happen to be at one of the most spiritually intense questioning periods in my life. The problem is all these ideas I've found while sober. The mushrooms are just combining them all together which seems to make it seem more true.. in the same way it lets you see your own ego in action more clearly. Many times while tripping I'll be saying "why the fuck did you do that?!?!" to myself when reflecting on some of my recent behavior towards people. I've been thinking about the nature of things for a few years now and experiencing ego-splitting/partial loss has affected it big time.. sort of like hermitic alchemy says - nothing exists outside The All (hence the username), which means basically the universe or multiverse. Some would call this "god". I am a part of that universe, so "god" is a part of me. Sort of like the Godhead idea Aser is referring to.. I am you and you are me. We are all the godhead experiencing different incarnations of itself, growing and expanding its experiences eternally . I know it cant be true if I will merge with the godhead eventually, but I still fear that all this implies that everything, including my ego, my family, my wife and children, everything was just a figment of my imagination. Modern physics says everything is 99.9% empty and there's only one substance, call it "energy" if you will, others call it consciousness or mind/imagination/thought. Nothing we do happens without intention first, which is a thought, so why is reality any different.. the idea that reality is mind/thought/imagination isn't a new idea either. So I'm sort of using shrooms for insight. Maybe this is a bad idea.

I made this account just to reply to this thread. I have had a very similar trip delivering the same message. This life changing trip ultimately led me to reading the Bhagavad Gita
"From the highest planet in the material world down to the lowest, all are places of misery wherein repeated birth and death take place. But one who attains to My abode, O son of Kuntī, never takes birth again.
All kinds of yogīs — karma, jñāna, haṭha, etc. — eventually have to attain devotional perfection in bhakti-yoga, or Kṛṣṇa consciousness, before they can go to Kṛṣṇa's transcendental abode and never return. Those who attain the highest material planets, the planets of the demigods, are again subjected to repeated birth and death. As persons on earth are elevated to higher planets, people on higher planets such as Brahmaloka, Candraloka and Indraloka fall down to earth. The practice of sacrifice called pañcāgni-vidyā, recommended in the Chāndogya Upaniṣad, enables one to achieve Brahmaloka, but if, on Brahmaloka, one does not cultivate Kṛṣṇa consciousness, then he must return to earth. Those who progress in Kṛṣṇa consciousness on the higher planets are gradually elevated to higher and higher planets and at the time of universal devastation are transferred to the eternal spiritual kingdom. Śrīdhara Svāmī, in his commentary on Bhagavad-gītā, quotes this verse:
brahmaṇā saha te sarve
samprāpte pratisañcare
parasyānte kṛtātmānaḥ
praviśanti paraḿ padam
"When there is devastation of this material universe, Brahmā and his devotees, who are constantly engaged in Kṛṣṇa consciousness, are all transferred to the spiritual universe and to specific spiritual planets according to their desires."
I have been studying this in audio format after always wanting to read it. I am only giving a recommendation to further your knowledge of the Absolute, my bruda. For, I know we have experienced similar things in this nature.

Thank you for taking the time to make an account, I appreciate it very much. You aren't the 1st person to tell me to read the Bhagavad Gita recently lol. Someone else on youtube did after I replied to a video.
I've always been wary of reading religious books because I was afraid it would be a waste of time or there was some emotional trick that caused people to believe it to be literally true and start performing immoral acts, sort of doubting my self in a way, but my intuition seemed to have served me well and I didn't want to stop relying on it and instead on something that was supposedly written through divine inspiration. Plus how religion has been a political tool to take advantage of people for a very long time... look how rich the Vatican is, no offense to anyone. But since you're the 2nd person to suggest it, maybe I will give it a read. Is there a free audio version you could link?

Ok, i see. I didn't get that it was mostly a fear of your family not being real. That makes more sense yet you still lost me with a lot of that. Appreciate the response though.
Right now i'm just thinking, lets say for example your entire life is only a dream, all in your head. If this were true (it might be who knows) then i'd think that would apply to everything, not just a few people in your life. If everything you perceive isn't "real", i have to ask does it really matter? If your entire life was one very complex and realistic lucid dream to me i don't see how that's any different or worse than what we normally experience on a daily basis.
And i noticed you used the the word "were", as in you don't actually believe that right now. That's good, i'm still not sure just how seriously your taking this stuff. I wonder about it myself too. But like the other person said, this is Joe Molloy territory. I know i'm not really fully understanding all this but it kinda does sound like you might just be thinking about all this too much and placing too much importance on it. I know, easier said than done i do it too.
Basically i'm just saying it might be a good idea to just accept things as they are for right now and not question it too much. At least temporarily. It's good to want to know the truth, but if your not ready you'll just have to wait until you are. You know, patience is a virtue and you'll be doing yourself a favor not thinking yourself into insanity because of a what-if situation. Well, i hope those thoughts help. Best of luck making sense of everything but i think you'll be fine.

I have a question for OP. How often do you trip and what is your dosage?
From what I have been reading you seem to have an idea of what reality is for you. Why not take a break from tripping and contemplate on all the information you have on your plate now?
As for entities, I've experienced this as well. I am trying to not trip on mushrooms for a while and let my life take it's course and then take the sacrament again and see if it wasn't all in my head.

this is definitely interesting what happened to you....
I had a dream once that I could travel through to another universe that wasn't this life's story, but in the other universe (which i felt was the real one) I still knew everyone in this reality but they had different relationships with me in the real universe. But people were trying to stop me from going back and forth because I was trying to tell people in the "fake" reality that we were able to actually travel back and forth and that this wasn't real. I had it after a trip with mushrooms.
I'm sure that was very confusing to read and I apologize. It's very confusing to put it in words.
It honestly reminds me of a book too. But not the Bhagavad Gita. Although the book has Krishna in it. And has his teachings. It's one of the most mind blowing books I've ever read because it's a teen book. I was hit over the head with it while reading it. It has this underlying life eternal feel to it. It's so hard to talk about it because it feels so silly actually talking about a teen book, and actually gaining something from it. Anywho, if anyone actually wants to read the book it's the THIRST novels by Christopher Pike, started in 1996. And yes, the back of the book talks about the main character being a 5000 vampire. I read it because I was bored and got it for my brother. But there's so many things in those books that people on the Shroomery sometimes speak of....like: a god/s, reincarnation, demons, satanists, magic, alchemy, astronomy, politics, government, DNA replication, mind control, telepathy and telekinesis, eternal love, soulmates, aliens, reptilian aliens, UFOs etc. It was just choke full of it.
Eh well I just wanted to put that out there.

There's also the school of thought that this is all just fantastically synaptic overload bullshit.  sometimes people try to anthropomorphize a drug induced experience. And sometimes you need to take a step back and realize that at the end of the day its just a drug. And maybe you need a prolonged break from all these entities so you can live in the here and now with your family in the real world.
But then there's also people that do believe in spirits and other dimensions and clockwork elves and what you wrote up is just another Wednesday night for them through the looking glass.

I respect that outlook - it used to be mine.
Used to believe nothing beyond the physical existed, and anything that did was 'fake' and/or 'imaginary'.
My personal experiences over the past several years have completely changed my perspective on such things.
It's unexplainable...it must be experienced. And if you haven't experienced it, then it's totally understandable that you think it's bullshit. Like I said - been there.
Also, I edited my post right before I saw your post. I didn't do that because of what you said. Just did that cause I plan to come back tomorrow to make more sense of my original post.
