I love carbon based lifeforms, their music is incredible & the new album Interloper is just out I shared it through the albums & blogs PM list...
I just bought all 3 of their albums out of respect for them as artists, they really are so good i think they deserve the money for what they do Their music can be great for tripping, meditation, smoking, driving, sex, anything All albums are solid all the way through, fresh fluid oxygenated spacey ambient
Check them out

I liked that. I may just have to find a few albums of theirs myself.

It has failed to help drug addicts get treatment. It has failed to prevent the cultivation of marijuana and the making of illicit drugs. It has failed to halt the flow of illegal drugs into the United States.

A little less spacey, but have you ever listened to This Will Destroy You? they're a good instrumental vibe band.
listen to the songs A Three-Legged Workhorse and I believe in your victory

i think vibrasphere is pretty similar and just as good, if not better than carbon based lifeforms.

I like CBL's work whenever it has a plot, a narrative, or some recognizable substance. I like many of the tracks on World of Sleepers, particularly Abiogenesis. However, I'm not a fan of the bizarre and meandering ambient stuff that is also produced.

"Carbon Based Lifeforms 15 years ago we started a collaboration with Solar Fields. The project was called T.S.R. We are now releasing all four albums, starting with GTCHI97 [1997]. Release date April 1. Enjoy "
This is going to be sweet!

You can download a discography of Carbon Base Lifeforms from the torrent site Pirate Bay for free, although the albums are not totally complete. This means that if you want the complete albums you will have to go and buy them but there is about 4 hours worth of listening with the torrent.

Or you can be a bit more legit and compensate the artists (and stream the music for free) at Ultimae's bandcamp page.

Me too! I've all their releases on CD exceptfor the impossible to get a hold of Aes Dana release, Aftermath:

I even managed to get a hold of a mint copy of Solar Fields' limited release, Extended!
http://www.discogs.com/Solar-Fields-Extended/release/532106
I'm a big supporter of quality music, and ordering it on a physical format. Plus, Ultimae is top notch with the overall presentations of their albums. High quality artwork and personalized messages and other goodies in their shipments.

I downloaded them first from Pirate bay to see if I liked them then I went out and bought the albums because I found the music to be fresh and inspirational. Torrents are a good way to see if you like the music first.
