Some of the folk o'er on our sister site The Growery have put together a li'l contest to see who
can design the best sticker for the promotion of that community. Looks like the prize is a couple
hundred bucks and since there really aren't a lot of active members there to participate, I figure
I'd give a shout to the Shroomerites to help generate a li'l more interest for our greener side! 
Note, this contest is run independently by community members, so ask any Q's in this thread:

There isn't really any one idea that were looking for. We're just wanting to get some advertisement for the growery out there. Any ideas are welcome and appreciated.
This has been thought up and organized by members over there, and prize money and cost of stickers is just being donated by the members.

my classmate can draw really good. i mean like really really good pictures what usually contain weed and mushrooms. he scraped a beautiful picture of liberty caps on a coloured metal cigarillo box with a needle once. maybe i can find some samples somewhere in my pc...

There are not a whole lot of entries. Maybe 10 or 12 people have made some including me. The contest is actually not voted upon unfortunately because that could never work on a forum. At the "end" of the contest (whenever that is) a group of admins will decide the winner.

A professional website should not hold a contest to decide on what their logo is going to be. Even the average, just out of community college, designers know better than to attempt to produce a logo for a website without doing work to the stylesheets for every type of page the site uses.
Consistency is key. If your nice site is designed by one person or team of people, let them design the logo.
Logos aren't some game that just anyone with knowledge of photoshop jump into and hope to produce something worthwhile.

You keep going on about logos when it's simply a sticker design contest. No one is designing a logo for the Growery to use all over it's website.
I'm pretty sure the average, just out of community college designers would jump all over this contest in a heart beat considering how much work is available in the field.

1. As stated before this is just for sticker designs to get out to our members so they can spread them around.
