and I'll say Dragon Age series because I haven't played Skyrim (which has problems on ps3 anyways right?)

I liked Fallout 3 when I had mine and theres a new one out too i havent played. I basically pawned a ps3 for a bit from an old roommate who owed me until he came up with funds. anyway i thought it was awesome its rpg like i think.

hah just realized it was 3  i haven't had one in a while so idk man. Waiting for the ps4 or the next best thing which im guessing is just gonna be built in to a computer eventually anyway.

Definitely demon's souls/dark souls. If you read reviews about them, people are always like "omg they're too hard." They're not, they just have a learning curve. The combat is unforgiving but probably the most realistic you're going to find in any RPG ever. Great graphics. Intriguing story...and uniquely told. You don't get quests in the sense of a quest log type deal, but there are quests, covenants, betrayals, and an incredibly awesome PvP/co-op system.
Dragon age is really fast-paced, but... I hated it, the story was cringe-worthy. Although I only started on the sequel which got bad reviews compared to the first.
Skyrim is good, but it's really easy to "break" your character and make him so overpowered you can go around and 1-shot everything on master difficulty like a god. And I don't mean explots, just maxing out any crafting tree.

i found demons souls to be more of a hack and slash.
has anyone played disgaea 3 , folklore , eternal sonata , enchanted arms , agarest , valkyria chronicles , kingdoms of amalur or resonance of fate?

Interesting. Have you tried dark souls? I honestly haven't played demon's since I'm on the 360. But I have played all the other games I listed. I heard they tweaked the combat some but dark souls at least has around 100 unique weapons each with their own move set and strategy.

Kingdoms of amalur is definitely worth it. They put out a massive demo on psn if you want to try it first. Ps3 is very light on rpgs. Jrpgs. Especially. Which were you looking for, specifically?
