Heres a few pics. The first 2 are of the very slow growing pesh. It's been over 2 weeks, they went decent at first and then hit a stall and haven't much of anything since. This is one of the better jars too. The 3rd and 4th are of an eq jar. They are probably all like 80%, but its just the rhizo look. Not tons of this myc or anything. Tell me what you think. SOrry for the crappy pics, my phone cam is awful.

How long has it been since youve noticed growth on the pesh? Its really hard to tell from the pix, thel last ones look good, good rhizos are good. You just want it to fully colonize, which they will, my friend usually notices strong rhizos around the edge of the growth, where its actively growing.

The Pesh was innocd on 3-1-12 and the eqs were on 3-2-12. I noticed growth on the pesh the first time i check on them which was about 4 or 5 days after innoc. The eqs took probably 9 days or so to show signs and now as mentioned before have surpassed the pesh big time. I did the marker trick on the pesh and they have pretty much literally stopped doing anything. I just flipped them yesterday. The eqs I also did the marker trick with and they are going pretty nicely. Will the rhizo jars grow thicker myc all over or just stay like that? And the pesh is pretty thin myc, almost transparent.

Yeah, the myc on ur eq will colonize it all the way through and be pretty thick, thats the way they should look, about the pesh, you might have some stalled jars, and the thin transparent myc could be becuz its stalled and not growing. Couldve ran into bacterial contam, not sure, but if it goes another 5 or 6 days and youve noticed no growth, theyre probably done for. Might give themanother week, but im pretty sure once theyve stalled there is no coming back, sry, do you have plenty of EQ jars to not miss the loss of the pesh too much?

I have like 10 jars of eqs and 9 of pesh. Every pesh jar looks about the same. Maybe take one out and see what its looking like? try and birth one or something? what ya think. The one i took the pics of is pretty white all over and on the bottom. It has been for 4 days now or so. Its just super thin like that.

Might just be that strain? You never know with multi spore syringes, genetics. If it white all over then its either fully colonized or contamed, give it a few more days and birth it. Just keep it seperate from all your other ones just in case its contamed. When you birth it, smell of it and make sure it smells mushroomy, not any foul odors. Just do one to see whats going on and when u get it out of the jar inspect it real close to make sure its completely cover in myc
