some of the funniest episodes are in seasons 9-10 imo. 11 has some hilarious episodes too. I don't expect anything from south park. I watch the new episodes, and if they make me laugh, then it's funny.

I think that may have been the worst SP episode ever. It was awful.

Just an opinion, they have to be running out of material by this point. I haven't seen any of the new ep's yet but it has to be the same old material that has been in past seasons. Just with a modern twist added.

I watched the episode and I thought it was moderately funny, nowhere near as bad as most Family Guy episodes which usually substitute repetition and obscure pop culture refs for actual jokes. This episode was a rehash of previous material for sure, but it didn't seem like a big departure from some of the more forgettable episodes from any South Park season.
IMO the Simpsons has gotten more tired over the years, they do still have some good episodes though. On the Simpsons it's become more and more about stories that are just random sequences of events, easier than writing a traditional story where the events connect more. Family Guy was always just a tired rehash of the Simpsons with more focus on Homer/Peter acting stupid.

TBH I never found South Park to really funny. They have definitely had a few episodes hat had me in stitches but as a whole it's kind of an annoying show. I like the shows on Adult Swim better

THay will eventually cancel the show I think... same thing with the Simpsons... what we need are new adult cartoon shows... GOOD ADULT CARTOON SHOWS... have any of you seen Robot Chicken that shit is the mad note...!

Last episode I liked quite a bit was '1%' because it actually had an unraveling story.
Regardless of the first episode I'm still gonna give a watch next wednesday.

I liked the latest episode. I don't really compare them to others. I either find it funny, or I don't.

i suspect there will be another thread comparing next weeks episode to this one. Even if all the good stuff has run out, which it has not, thanks for all the laughs over the years South Park.
