What would be good ways to detect the location of members of a large group of snipers? I'm obviously not going to get sniped but this situation is pretty much the same as what I am dealing with, minus the guns. Don't ask why. Youre location would be known at all times and they communicate well. Most wear gully suits. This isn't paintball, airsoft, or xbox.
Do you know anything about tactics snipers use to remain hidden? I have noticed they stay still but if I spot one and hold on him for about 20 seconds he moves suddenly and FAST and I usually lose him after that. he How do spotting scopes compare to bincolulars in the same price range (200 max ideally used or new). I've been using a nice hunting scope but I am lacking stability, and the ability to maark a location. Optics are okay but could be better. The 20 dollar wally world binoculars I grabbed when I was broke are near worthless. My 70 dollar scope would make you think it cost 500 comparing the optics to the binoculars price.
visibility in low light would be a plus

If you're a deer trying to kill some hunters, you have my support. Maybe call on your deer tribe to help you surround them, then move in for the kill.

not by choice. It's fucked.
I don't think an ir scope would do much (especially at 200) for longer ranges as ir nightvision needs a good amount of ir light to work. Ir camcorders just have a infrared light you can't see but it's only good for like 50 feet. But correct me if you are familiar with them. Thermal is another story but I don't have 10 grand.

real snipers don't work in large groups. usually just a spotter and the shooter. Unless it's a whole team or squad for support. Then it'd be what like 4 to 6 guys. What sort of environment? urban? forested? mountainous? tactics difer depending on lots of factors. Basically you're trying to singlehandedly take on a larger force? What are they carrying?

On a farm, about 60 acres 40 of which is fields, plus surrounding perimeter of woods. It has mild hills but is relatively flatThere is anywhere from maybe 8 up to 30, roughly. It's hard to say. They hang out in the woods with enough distance to keep me visible but stay hidden. They communicate with hand language and are very good at staying coordinated with one another. They make moves synchronized with my actions (for example I look at my phone, they change locations. Most of them are most likely rednecks, probably some cops, and maybe even some ex military, who knows. Lots of rednecks that know how to hunt.
I don't know what optics they use but their goal is not to shoot me. (i've shot at them, if they wanted me dead I'd be dead)

Are you sure they're human? You mentined ghillie suits. Are you sure that's what you saw? Have you seen one up close? Are you sure you're not dealing with some sort of swamp monsters or plant people? That would certainly explain the lack of guns and their disragard for your shooting.

yes I'm positive they are human. They do this for a living, or atleast part of their living, as hard as that may be to believe. I know a lot about them (not as individuals), hiding in the woods is only part of what they do. I consider them criminally insane.
They won't let me get close but I have had a clear view on them in my scope plenty of times. Plus the few times I caught a glimpse of them running when they got up close and ballsy at night.
They aren't afraid to make noise, but that doesn't really help me considering theres a lot of them and they are in the woods in ghullie suits.

It's more stalking than spying. But spying works. They are just in the woods because I am on a farm. When I lived in the city they moved in the 2 apartments next to me in my 4 plex. Then I moved and they occupied the house under construction that was never finished next door. They have a lot of resourses and funding.

Well then, that pretty much settles it. Humans don't occupy construction sites. We're obviously dealing with plant people here. Don't worry, they're only after your oxygen, and maybe your fertilizer.
