so  2.2 ounces is a OD death dose?  That sounds really high... but in that case, it is hard to od and die off meth (and hella expensive lol)

That depends. The two values are somewhat contradicting. The first one says that an average person needs to have 200 mg of pure meth in his blood stream to die on it. The second one says that if you give a large number of adults weighing around 75 kg each 55 g to consume at once (note that no route of administration is given), then approximately half of them will die.
However, the German wikipedia article lists an LD-50 of 15 mg/kg for mice, which would translate into 1.1 g i.v. given to such a set of persons - assuming the value is the same for humans.

So I would say: If you ever try to OD on meth, please write down how much you took beforehand so we get some more data for humans.
