Cobweb or Mycelium? (with pics)
    #15944293 - 03/13/12 10:40 PM (12 years, 17 days ago)

So I seem to have had an issue with contamination because my cakes started pinning in the jars before they were fully colonized. I put 3 in the sgfc a few days ago and they seem to be doing fine.  I decided to birth the remaining 3 which now have pins and noticed what looks to be a cobweb like material around some of the pins.  Does this look like cobweb mold or is it normal/stringy mycelium? Thanks in advance!

My bad.  Still new to the forum and didn't even realize there was a contam forum. Guess I should have looked closer.
