Business Ideas for Preteen Siblings? 1

I have a bother and a sister who are turning 12 and 13 this year, 13 years younger than myself. I have spent very little time with them and I want to make up for that, to a certain extent. More importantly, I would like for them to learn how to manage their cash and learn the ways of the world.
Are there any kind of low maintenance, low cost business ventures I could research for them? Selling goods, simple services, etc, nothing elaborate.I would obviously finance, coach and mentor them, though I am not very versed in the logistics involved. Another thought would be to create a business plan of my own and incorporate them into the plans.
Any insight or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

paper routes arent available for kids anymore.
i got my start in lawn care in the midwest. 20 bucks to push a mower around someones yard. shows the value of making your own money, and also instills the value of hard work.

I mowed yards, cleaned dog-shit out of yards, put up fences and painted. Find the slum-lords in town and get them a gig painting for $5/hr
