Panaeolus bisporus from Colville, Eastern WA. Original specimen collected by Frizzie (Shroomery) aka Subbalteatus (Mycotopia). Thank you very much for the print my friend! Some photos of the collected fruits/habitat:

The Mushroom Observers Page for the find, and Frizzie's thread on the subject.
This is my second time around cultivating this species, the first one was from San Diego, CA from lipas' collection. You can find the thread here: Panaeolus (Copelandia) bisporus Indoor Cultivation.
As far as I know, this is the only confirmed find in the US other than California. It appears to be "adventitious and apparently more tolerant of temperate climates" according to Workman. It has been IDd by him as well, here's the microscopy:

I've received the wild print on a microscope slide:

I went with the same route I did with the CA bisporus. Swiped the spores on a few MEA plates. I've had a little trouble with bacterial contamination in the beginning, but I've made up some antibiotic agar with gentamicin sulfate and finally I've got clean growth. Sterilized rye berries spawn were inoculated with an agar wedge. It colonized rather fast, in just a week. Spawned it to a pasteurized substrate mix consisting of horse manure/coir/vermiculite/gypsum (50/30/15/5) in a small plastic shoebox container. The mycelium ripped through the substrate again in just a week.
Cased with a thin (1/4") pasteurized 50/50+ casing layer, and introduce to fruiting conditions.
Pins appeared in 12 days. They are fatties, as my humidity lacks a little bit but hey, I've got fruits
Clean spawn and the substrate before and after casing:

First pins:

More fruits:

I've got another tub in fruiting, it's got pins forming on it right now:

Couple of caps printing and some fruits will be harvested tomorrow. Will update this thread daily (hopefully...) Thanks for following!

Wow.
You post some of the best grow logs I've seen.
Do these die out after just one flush?
The microscopy pictures are great, I believe you have one picture mislabeled though.
Spores at 1000x look the exact same size as 400x
Keep the good stuff coming.

Well StoneSun.. I just wanted to say thank for that wonderful presentation. That is an incredible grow!! I suppose this settles the question as to what they are... For some reason because they were never really looked at on a larger scale I had doubts as to if they were true Bisporus or not.
When I picked them, as you might see in the link, I had thought they were Copelandia Cyanescens. I had been pursuing a rare find that Some friends and I had discovered over fifteen years earlier in Spokane that I had thought to be Copelandia Cyanescens based on photographs and endless searches on the internet.
After collecting a good set of Prints of these. I sent a Print to WarriorSoul from Topia who was the first to suggest Bisporus. And The Gill and print I sent to Workman took over a month (it seemed to get to him) So Even though I sent first To Workman, Warrior was the first to suggest Bisporus from the double Spore. Later when Workman Id'd them He noted the forked basidium.
It took a while to find someone to Id them completely and I'm glad You decided to take a look StoneSun!! Never really believed anyone would actually grow them out to be honest. Had kind of given up on the idea that we would ever see that.
Looks like it took some Skill! and those are some real fatties for sure, The blackened caps are similar looking ot lipas collection but these have much fatter stems.
It was really an amazing summer that I had found these. Not only was I able to find the Colville Specimen, but found a mamoth Cinctulus fruiting and even tracked down one or two specimens from Spokane on the original lawn that started this whole mad search. Excited to see what those are.
