Well just to make sure EVERYONE UNDERSTANDS.... the PC is practically brand new, only used a small handful of times and have been taking very good care of her until the dry run for 30-45 minutes. Everything seems to be in working order and there is NO VISABLE DAMAGE on the PC at all. If there is anything wrong with it, it would be with the structural stability of the Metal to hold 15psi for prolonged time.
I still hope RR comes to Chime in on this when he has a chance to see if he has any advice.

No you will never warp an AA you will only damage it on a microscopic stress level. They ARE stronger, They ARE more durable yes. But like I posted about my dirt bike, And others posted about the engine blocks, things tend to blow up, Under pressure when they are heat stressed...
Metal Is like glass, (In a sense..) Take a torch to the bottom of a glass, and watch what happens.. The thing will crack. Now you may not notice the damage on a 3/4"+ cast aluminum pressure cooker, But you have damaged it. Just as posted by RR in one of the links above, It may not blow up today, It may not blow up tomorrow, It may never blow up. But if it was to ever blow up, You just lit the fuse.
On you behalf, I hope for your well being that, that pressure cooker doesn't blow up on you... Because fuck I have seen things under pressure blow up, And its not cool.. I couldn't imagine it happening inside your house, full of super heated high pressure steam. Again, Clearly its your call. We have no real say in what you will, and will not do. But dont say that we didnt warn you if that thing does in fact blow up, and take off your arm, or head, on its trip out your kitchen window, and into the neighbors front lawn..

I guess it is my background in harm reduction that tells me to never use it again unless a multi-million dollar company is willing to give you the go ahead and the right to sue if ANYTHING goes wrong.
I don't know your living situation. You seem pretty calm about this, and maybe rightfully so! But again, HARM REDUCTION!, do you have any neighbours? Could you even imagine hurting someone you love or even that douche next door with the loud dog?
Of course there is a stupidly minute chance of that happening, but, for the sake of other's get that thing checked out for sure!
Also, could you even imagine news articles about a shroomery member hurting themselves or even just blowing a hole through their house?

To be honest, this is how I feel about it.... I mean how many people buy used and old PCs off Craigslist etc... you never know how many times that thing has been run dry before they got rid of it.
Yes i'm nervous to run it... but i'd like to hear from people that have purchased used cookers. I used a buddies' pc for a long time before I bought my AA... That thing was beat to hell on the inside and outside. It ran just fine as was probably made in the 1950's.
Like I said, I understand there are risks etc... I'm i'm nearvous as fuck to run the pc right now, but if theres anyone else that'd like to chime in, it'd be great!
And again, The PC has been run twice through 2 full 90 min jar loads @ 15PSI, the seal is fine and so are the valves/gauges etc. There are not any dents or warping on the unit. The jars that were in there during the dry run are completly fine and have no issues at all. The only thing that sucked was the rusting jar lids in the bottom just rusted a little more and got shit all over the bottom of the PC.

Being nervous, not nervous, emotions, yada yada are irrelevant. So is whether or not people have bought used ones off of Craigs List. It's a simple matter of facts & science - the metal stress of cast aluminum when it's subjected to high temps. You know there's probably a good chance it's fine but could be a good probability that it's not - no one knows for sure. And whether someone wants to play poker with it knowing what's at stake win or lose is of course up to the person playing the hand. The difference is that in poker you've got a better chance of knowing what the other players are holding, lol... Best of luck to you regardless what you choose senor Slap.
