Look for audio book membership I got a free one on amazon and im halfway through fire and ice
Got the first one on CD at the library was like 28 cd.

audio books for a 5000 page multi novel story thats still not finished? thats a bit much for me.
i finished the books last year though.
probably read it again soon too before the final because its a great story, not Tolkien great but close. BTW thats the best part of reading is appreciating a tale over again.
gotta read between the lines to appreciate it all. just like life.

yep just something about reading thats personal and different then listening or watching.
i cant count how many times ive read the hobbit. maybe 50 or so lol.
and i am almost afraid to see the movie now because i know it changes the imagination of such a great story after you have fully digested it in your psyche when reading it. so to speak.

Aye... Though on the topic of the hobbit I thought that the pacing of the movie and portrayal of the book was sufficiently good to be quite enjoyable despite being a bit nitpicky as far as movie adaptations myself ... albeit I've only read it like 2 times not 50
