Where to sell audio equipment online? 2

Besides Ebay and Craigslist.
My boss just sold his mansion, I've got to get it cleaned out for him.
I've got a half dozen nice amplifiers and a bunch of parts to his whole house automation system that have to be worth something.
Where can I sell this crap for maximum $?
The kind of people who would buy this stuff don't waste time searching craigslist. They have people who buy it for them. How do I find these people?

You won't find those people. Those people have too much money and cool stuff anyways. I could get them out of your way for free.

What sort of amplifiers are we talking about?
You'd be surprised what people sell/are looking for on craiglist. Listing it is free and takes all of 5 minutes so the only reason to not at least try posting it is sheer laziness on your part.

I'm planning to post it to CL, I just don't have high hopes.
I still have to sort through all the stuff so I don't even know what all I have.
There are two Adcom GFA 7705 and one adcom gfa 7805.
they're over $2K new.
Not sure about the whole house controller shit. made by Elan but I don't have a model # with me. It looks expensive.

I closed down a recording studio and sold most of my stuff on CL. Most of my stuff was 10+ years old but I still got about a 1/3 of what I paid for it.

Audiogon is the best place indeed, I'm surprised it was posted so late.

People buy 2k+ items and audio gear on CL all the time.
True audiophiles know what to pay for items, regardless of where they're sold.

I've been learning more about 'audiophiles' this last week trying to sell this shit.
I think I hate them more than I hate wine snobs.
No, I don't hear that humming noise. You're imagining shit.

Definitely. Its like any other high-end market.
"Oh, listen to that stage presence!"
"These speakers are so warm!"
Some of it I get, lots of it I don't. The last audiophile I talked to told me the $1600/pair polk speakers I was interested in were "lo-fi", and that I'd get what I paid for and would be unhappy with the sound quality.
Thats when I realized I didn't care if I was an audiophile.
