:happyheart:Hey Guys,
I've been really busy with my research on all forms of growing, I'll get my notes together and pass around everything I've learned or if you have any questions you can ask me & I'll do the best I can to answer them.

My pans are on their second flush that looks like it may be as big if not bigger than the first, the one tub I showed you netted out 450 grams wet & the bottoms cut off (I store them separate for other research).

I do have to say the pans are smooth, they don't taste bad, don't need as much & they're sneaky.
Some of my other research on cubies.

I don't know the first thing about making a tek.
The first thing I did was to make a lc out of potato broth (potato flakes in boiling water then strained it over & over until there was no potato left), light malt extract & dextrose & put them in jars with rocks or marbles on the bottom & one with a stir bar, I pc'd  them for 15-20 minutes at 15.
After it was cooled I used a syringe and knocked them up with about 1 cc each and incubated the jars for 24 hours at 80 degrees.
The one with the stir bar did phenomenal but even the jars with the rocks on the bottom did well too.
I rocked the jars with the stones several times a day and the stir bar 24/7.
when you make a lc and are ready to use it I like to use new syringes and fill them all up at once then fridge the ones you don't use, they seem to contaminate more easily once they've been used.
Jars knocked up with lc take days to colonize, I have this one that's already needing spawned to bulk

I washed both rye and wbs and soaked them at least 24 hours with gypsum then brought it to a boil and cooled it by shaking it from colander to colander & filled my jars, covered them with foil & pc'd them at 15 for 90-120 minutes, let them cool overnight.

I'm not super strict about sterile conditions but I do make sure everything is clean, use gloves & alcohol & stick my jars inside a box with the front open but the top is covered & sprayed down first with peroxide and water to clear the dust.  Then I stick them in a cupboard and keep the temps around 70-80 but I've learned not to incubate the jars unless you have some bitchingly cold weather.

In about 2 weeks they were ready for bulk spawn & I took a bale of decorative hay for $8 and shredded it up into a tub & soaked it (it's easier to cut after it's soaked) then cut the straw into about 1-3" strips
I added black cow manure, vermiculite, gypsum & water until it was wet but not too wet and put them into baking bags & into a roaster of water with a meat thermometer in the center and pasteurized at 140-165 degrees for 90 minutes or so, if it gets water in the bag I poke holes in the bottom and let it drain.  Then I spawned it to  bulk in a monotub with the holes covered up and within 7-9 days it was ready to case and I just spread the casing by the handful to cover it lightly & patched it if it got too out of hand but usually it didn't need any patching & started them to fruit.
I read that Pan's like a shallow sub but the best tub had the thickest substrate about 3.5" then it grew up another half inch or so into the casing, I also read that they like it warm but when my temps dropped overnight the tubs showed more growth so I don't incubate anything unless it's really cold.
I also opened the top of my tub and inch or so and keep a humidity at 95-98% so they don't dry out & if they do I mist it lightly with a pump mister and from a distance.
I know this is crude but I didn't follow any one tek I just did it by the seat of my pants, kinda like the way I cook.  It took about a month from start of the jar to finish and I was harvesting. Feel free to ask me anything & I'll do the best I can.

How often did you fan them and did you have a light right over the tub? You use a monotub? Looks kind of like it. What strain of pans was that?

Oh, by the way: thanks for responding your grow looks awesome.

I have a piece of painter's type clear plastic tarp & hooked it around a couple of shelves and the ceiling & have a humidifier from Walgreen's inside with the tubs & prop the tub top open with the humidity about 95-98% and small fan on the ground that barley moves the air around, if they start to look dry I close the tub, you also have to keep any areas not covered in plastic free of mold because of  the humidifier.  This way there is constant fae but it's always humid, it makes the mushies big & strong.  I also like to sing them a lullaby before putting them to bed but only when I've been researching that evening.

Grats.

Was your substrate pasteurized by any chance?

Yes it was, I submerged my cooking bags filled with substrate and a meat thermometer in the center with a rock & heated to 160-165 degrees in an electric roasting pan like a tek I've seen except I don't use a pillow case  & if they have too much water I'll poke holes in the bottom of the bag but usually it's just right & if possible I use it warm not hot but not cold either.:dancer:

Peat moss, vermiculite, gypsum, calcium carbonate, diatomaceous earth & water patseurized for 1-1.5 hours at 150-160 degrees cooled it and spread it out by dusting it on top until it was barely covered or I've heard you can use cactus soil.

They are most excellent, I abstained for over a week before I ate 37 grams and they're easy to eat  & were quick acting, visual, physical and most definitely mental for a good 7-8 hours, so totally different from cubies.:rastamon:
