You're right, the Bruins could beat the Flyers, but I think the Flyers would win that series. And that 3-1 record is bullshit, two of those games went to a shootout after dominating OT for the Flyers, not to mention come backs by the Flyers in both games. You should put the Bruins went 6-4 in points to make it a much clearer how those games went. There is no shootout in the playoffs though, and every game you beat the Flyers, Bryz was still in that horrible funk. Plus you haven't had the chance to play against Grossmann, who will make sure there isn't anyone in front of the net while he's playing. I can't see the Bruins beating the Flyers this year, but I would expect to see a great fucking series that is a lot closer then last years. Most likely we will play in the second round.

take away our awful start to our season and that one loss doesnt count cuz we were playing some awful hockey then, but after that start we won like 20 of 23 games including against philly
what makes philly so much better? we are 3-1 on the season...and u can bitch about the SO's all u want but we still won those games...so idk why ur convinced philly would win lol other than homerism
the differenc is that we have a better goalie, a much better goalie...our defense is way better than yours as well, by time we play u guys im sure mcquaid will be back too, bc realistically the only series were gonna play against eachother is the ECFinals, unless florida somehow beats NJ

Regular season don't mean shit, and last year can suck it. We were a completely different team, and we have 15 NEW players. The Bruins are letting up goals to the Capitals, and you think Tim Thomas will be able to stop Philly offense, you're out of your mind. Keep in mind Tim Thomas has let up 11 goals in 4 games against the Flyers, and Giroux, Jagr, Briere, JVR were all out at least one game. Plus the Bruins can't try to beat up the Flyers, because they have just as many tough guys one their team willing to drop the gloves and turn the tides of a game, and just as many players who can deliver a huge check. Schenn even knocked down Chara once. Philly in 6 if you guys can even beat the Caps.
And we won't play in the ECFinals. If NJ wins, they will play the Rangers (if the Rangers win), which leaves the Bruins (if they can even beat the Caps) playing the Flyers. If Florida, the Sens, the Caps, and the Pens win, then the Flyers-Bruins won't meet. But they win, and the Bruins are gonna be all butthurt when the Flyers beat them for the second time in 3 seasons.

1.Tim Thomas had the best postseason ever. Well this is a two part pick apart. 1. He had the best REGULAR season ever. I'll grant him that, he was a beast. But it definitely wasn't the greatest postseason ever. Giguerre when the Ducks won? Hasek with the Wings? But lets go over a few things about that series. 1. Tim Thomas won that series for the Bruins. In fact, he won EVERY series for the Bruins last year. If it wasn't for him, the Bruins wouldn't have even got past Montreal or Tampa Bay. 2. It was a different team, again, the Flyer have 15 new faces since that series. One of the reason for that overhaul, was because of problems in the locker room for the team. Guess which team is all on the same page, and playing well with insane chemistry on every line? But hey, at least we didn't have one of the most epic meltdown in sports history and let a team down 0-3 come back to tie the series, only to go back up 3-0 in the first and then lose both the game and series 4-3. History will be made bitch.
